The calm setting, excellent welcoming staff, the breakfast buffet and the fact that it was 50 metres away from my two Oceans race start point! But the best part was the hotel offered full breakfast as from 3am on both racedays and there were takeaway coffees to warm the chilly morning at the starting pens. For this reason alone I'm never staying anywhere else when I'm in CT!

The need to overhaul the bathrooms and install proper shower cubicles. The old style of shower in the bathtub with a curtain is so 1990s😀

The hotel is well designed. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast is nice.

The Wi-Fi was not the speed I would expect from a business hotel. Check-in felt relatively inflexible and I had to wait around 90 minutes on arrival to do so. When waiting there was not so much seating space to feel comfortable. The hotel could provide more bottled water (one small bottle a day felt not enough)

Over all everything was good, fresh and clean. We just struggled to replace the toilet paper into the very fancy fitting behind the marble counter in the bathroom. Not so user friendly, but apart from that everything else was fantastic.

We went for the ICC T20 World Cup Womens Cricket so this was the perfect location for us! 5 minute wak to the ground. The staff where absolutely amazing went out their way to make us feel welcome and help us with everything. They went above and beyond when it came to taking care of us while we were there. We had an excursion so would have missed breakfast so they packed us a generous bag of food to take with us. This was the perfect place for us and many of our tour company's did come and pick us up from the hotel which was nice as we were just outside Cape Town main city. The hotel management staff and all the other staff members were amazing! Thanks for the amazing service you provided!

Very clean, updated rooms, excellent breakfast, good dinner too. A big shoutout to the front end supervisor, Delnade Esterhuizen, for his amazing help when our flights to Cape Town were canceled three times with the result our room reservation changed at the last minute. Thank you!

Bath faucet was not working. However, when we mentioned the problem, the maintenance team arrived promptly and fixed the problem.

The staff service was excellent. They shall always go the extra mile. Thank you Umathi and Hazel and the manager who gift us a wine bottle during our stay. Thanks for having resolved the minor issues during the check in process.

Some issues with initial room allocated. But resolved quickly and we do perfectly understand that this do happen.

we liked that when we entered our room there was cups still left there from the previous client southern sun took this matter seriously and sent a bowl of fruits to our room as a gesture this is excellent service from there side to a client.

We were in for one night only, choosing to overnight in Cape Town, having flown in late and planning to leave early for the Cederberg. Unbelievably, for an "international" airport, there is nothing in close proximity, and the logical thing to do- head off to the N1 or along the N2- is not something I'd risk late at night. So, off to Newlands we went. The hotel is fine. Big rooms, comfortable beds, decent bathrooms and clean. The breakfast was better than average. Staff were helpful and friendly. It served its purpose admirably, and we departed well rested and well fed.

The staff is very friendly and made us feel at home,my kids were also catered for in the first floor play area, very safe also!!as for the breakfast buffet it's just exceptional. Definitely it's a place to stay in when I visit Cape Town again!! Lorenzo en Cindy you deserve a winning Trophy 🏆 very friendly guys!!

Nothing I didn't like about the hotel, it's just a five star inside en outside including the cleaning staff that listen to request.
