Grace at reception was excellent. She upgraded our rooms to more modern rooms without hesitation. Our stay was great and the Mowana Spa the next morning is greatly recommended. Breakfast at the spa and treatments were excellent. The wine and chocolate pairing at the Taste Room also met our expectations. Supper at the Kings Boma was not great. Maybe because it was during the week and a bit later in the evening. The waitress was amazing, but the variety was not what we expected and experienced at the same restaurant on previous visits.

I attended a conference at the Indaba. Very good facilities. Despite the cold weather, all indoor rooms, conference halls etc were heated more than adequautely. The food was very good at the conference with plenty for all, and the staff were couteous and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable with all in-room amenities necessary. The property has recently been refurbished, and all restrooms are clean and modern. I would reccommend holding a conference here.

There could be a map of the porperty on the website, because it is a country hotel with lots of walking. between buildings.

Check-inn: Fast and friendly Room: Large, clean, being welcomed by the first of the "big five" ok, it was made by the towels, but still the first elefant I saw this trip... :-) Bathroom, large, clean, seperate shower and bath.... Wifi: Not always stable or strong connection Swimming pool: Small, but good enough to refresh when too warm.

Location: you will need a car or use Uber... not recommended to leave the grounds, even if shopping center is very close... Check-out: first time requested invoice before check-out ( as that would be during the night) they told me to come to the reception anyway... After insisting they did print it.

I had a lovely dinner on the deck listening to the birdsong. The fish and chips was good but not great. It was the beautiful garden setting and a decent sized mojito that made it special. Nice big, clean room. Comfy bed. Coffee making fascilities and had a hot chocolate.

The hotel's airport shuttle wanted to charge R750 one way and would be picking up other passengers, so I think that was a bit excessive. I had a comfort uber from the airport for R550, all to myself, without any trouble and uberGo back was R300. TV reception was poor and not a lot of choice.

Everything, from when I was checking in simple process, got a ride to the room and everything was well explained

The service , tea n coffee and room service. Loved it. Shuttle service to MonteCasino. The beautiful tranquil walks in the lodge , Felt close to Nature .

I booked online .when i arrived was given a shaby small unit which was totally uncomfortable..not what i paid for. I complained the next morning and was upgraded to what i booked for. That is why i am giving Indaba the excellent ratiing on service. They listened and addressed immediately. Neighbours loud music which should have been addressed.

We are impressed with the nature around hotel facilities ( hotel rooms, Spa and conference rooms). You are in nature bush within 30 mins drive from Johannesburg. The receptionist let us check-in early to enjoy the stay. Service and food standard of the hotel restaurant ( Breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Chief's boma ( lunch and dinner- remember to book first ) are outstanding. The hotel tennis courts have professional coach that you can book to train you during the stay. There are many Spa packages to choice and Gin testing to enjoy. The hotel room beds are comfortable and quiet. Wi-Fi is stable and fast.

TV channels are not working.

This place is a consummately professional operation. The staff, the quality of the meals, the spacious and clean room with high-quality linens -- everything was top notch. And for such a huge property, it's amazing how everything runs like clockwork. The food was absolutely superb and Chief's Boma restaurant is out of this world. It's a dining experience like no other.

Certain accommodation blocks were undergoing a retrofit, but that is completely understandable for a hotel to be updating their facilities on an ongoing basis. But the Reno's didn't directly impact us.

Comfortable bed and bathroom facilities. Thank you for the lovely fruit platter and refreshing sparkling water on my arrival, as ordered and PAID for by myself, before arriving.

TV's view was "snowy" and very poor quality of the TV channels. I just switched on the TV to see what was on when I entered the room, but I didn't report it, since I was not planning to watch any TV. Just be aware that the broadcast of the TV channels of the TV in room 975 is very poor.

The Indaba is set in the most beautiful grounds and has a great location in Fourways close to all amenities and Lanseria Airport. The rooms are clean and comfortable and serviced daily. Staff are friendly and efficient.

The pool area is a little removed from the main building and doesn't have it's own drinks service, although one can order from room service.
