I loved the staff manager, she was fantastic... Absolute darling. And her stuff had the best service and sense of care

When we were preparing ourselves to check out, the male reception knocked so rudely on our door, repeatedly saying "it's way past 10" I opened the door and explained we are getting done, he insisted we vacate the room, is there no grace time of 10 or 20 min? He was the only staff who was rude towards us even the previous night. But fare enough the approach was different with other customers, with no offense customers of his color

Receptionist, Mercia, was so accommodating and friendly & went out of her way to find us a room where we could plug in our car fridge - thank you, Mercia. Loved the free wi-fi voucher and the large bar fridge in the room. Good pressure shower with ample hot water. Great to be able to watch the cricket on the room TV. Great stop over in Kimberley. Restaurant looked beautiful, with varied menu (didn't eat there though). Had a glass of wine in the ladies bar - good service, but quite expensive.

Nothing, a good value overnight stop, close to highway

Enjoyed the hospitality and the Oxtail was really exceptionally made.

the bar man somehow made me feel embarrassed when he indicated that he cant speak making me understand that he has a speech and hearing impairment when in fact he only had laryngitis and I tried to communicate by means of sign

Friendly and warm welcome at reception, she offered us to look at the dubble rooms because we is a couple who were booked for a room with single beds..We prefer to stay in the room that was allocated to us but her thoughtfulness is highly appreciated. She also offered us a take away breakfast because we had to leave early yesterday morning and couldn't have breakfast, so we were allowed a take away breakfast on Sunday morning because we traveled back to Vredendal from Kimberley an eight hour trip.

Everything was perfect, only the noise of the generator was disturbing, but that is the new norm of our country...loadshedding. 😭

Easy to find and relatively close to major shopping malls and Kimberley's main attraction, the Big Hole. Good restaurant on site with value for money buffet meals. Buffet breakfast is excellent. Nice well maintained gardens.

Our room faced the main road and was noisy. Shower head sprayed in every direction and no where in shower to put your soap and shampoo except on the floor. Glass shelf installed in the shower was loose so everything just slid off.

Room was large, comfortable and clean. Bed was a king size bed. Bathroom was large. Breakfast is a set menu and was good and filling. Location is close to town but also easy to reach highway.

Bathroom plumbing is noisy. Even when other guests use their bathrooms, one hears the water flowing through the pipes. Easily sorted by closing the bathroom door. Restaurant is also closed for dinner on a Sunday

The beautiful layout of the room and garden area was amazing . Rooms were quite and very clean and comfortable. My partner enjoyed the air-conditioning very much.

The staff had really good manners and made small conversation that would brighten up anyone's day. I loved the cute talking parrot in front of the reception area too. Overall the best hotel I have been to for the year.

Lovely restaurant with very good food. Nice staff and facilities. The garden is special and large with green grass and large trees. the rooms and bathrooms were large, well equipped and has beverage making facilities

We paid the fee. For our whole stay. The next day we were contacted by the guesthouse telling us we have to come back and do another payment.

All the employees in every department are professional, helpful and friendly. The food was amazing. We had dinner and breakfast buffet style. We traveled for work, but they have a wonderful setup for family entertainment, with a big play area and lovely swimming pool.

We had the best experience. Everything was on point. No room for improvement during our stay. The employees went above and beyond to make our stay excemptional.

When we first arrived in Kimberley,my mother's place of birth,my husband and I visited Kalahari Lodge,oh and may I say it felt like a luxury hotel instead of just an ordinary Lodge. There was a coffee stand with an aroma that welcomed the cold rainy day and we were so cozy from the start. We couldn't believe the friendly staff and at the same time we were offered to help our self to the coffee stand with fresh milk.We witnessed a beautiful wedding whilst having a coffee outside.
