The mountain pass Seweweekspoort, on the way in was spectacular. Extremely scenic, bungalows are wonderful, we only spent one night and should have done 2. Main lodge is beautiful, our dinner (Karoo lamb) was so good, I will say it was the one of the best meals of the trip. Our host and guide, Sarah was full of interesting info about the park and the areas history, and gave us a wonderful game drive in the evening. The stars came out and after the camp lights went off I was able to capture some beautiful scenic with the Milky Way blazing away.

Lovely, spacious accommodation in a stunning setting. Excellent food and staff. We enjoyed the drive to the lodge, up the spectacular Seweweekspoort, even though it was raining at the time. We will gladly return and stay more than one night.
For the guidance of others, the road to the lodge is a gravel road which could be a problem for vehicles with limited ground clearance. Most sedan cars with reasonable clearance should be OK, but drive slowly. We had no problems with a 4x4 even in the rain.

We drove via Laingsburg towards the 'Seweweekspoort' to reach this exquisite private nature reserve. From the historical (1868/1871) “BIG FIVE LOOKOUT POINT” onwards, the 7 km descend was breathtaking. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown around. The sight of the crystal clear night sky was amazing. After being served a super breakfast, it was time to move on. We enjoyed every minute of every moment.
Nothing to criticize. Another amazing resort & people.

The location is AMAZING. It is well removed from society which is exactly what we wanted. Henry who assisted us with our stay is helpful and kind, what a guy! The unit we stayed in is fantastic, clean, and BLKNR supplied things like charcoal and ice for our braai.
I liked it, we had a large SUV, but some people might have issues with the road. It is a dirt road through the mountains that provide wonderful views, but it can be a bit scary in a smaller car. I don't think you'll have issues getting to the lodge, just something to be mindful of.

At the end of a very scenic road is an absolute gem - Bosch Luys Kloof. An absolute oasis in the midst of fantastic scenery. This was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had. We went for long walks in the mornings and lounged by the pool in the afternoons. The accommodation, hospitality and service is first class. Henry, Bruce and Sarah are excellent and made us feel so welcome. Lenie's cooking is just divine. We fully recommend a stay at Bosch Luys Kloof.

A truly exceptional and very relaxing stay! Hospitality was fantastic, Henry made us feel so at home. The staff are just great and always around for a chat, and will go out of their way to get you anything you need. The food was amazing too (you will not go hungry). The lodge never felt crowded, which really made it easy to just relax. Every direction you look in has magical views! The room was is larger than what it appears in the photos, with a great double outdoor shower. I had high expectations, and this gem of a place exceeded all of them. We'll definitely be back soon.

Majestic Scenery ! Spacious and very comfortable Chalet with a marvellous fireplace ! Henry Jones, the Hospitality Manager, is a Gem - very attentive to our needs, Henry was a fabulous host who took special care with our dietary restrictions. Also, Henry has a varied and wonderful music library ! The ladies at the kitchen are wizards ! We enjoyed a great Nature Drive - Sarah, the Ranger, is a knowledgeable and professional Guide who is a also very pleasant company.
The Internet Connection is not reliable and, being restricted to the Reception Area, causes inconvenience

Bruce, Henry, Sarah and the rest of the team really made sure to meet all our needs and wishes. We arrived with our bicycles, nearly frozen much later than anticipated on the day of our arrival. But the warm welcome was so great that we decided to add another night as we wanted to explore the area. We were not disappointed! Delicious food, cozy beds (including warm water bottles), amazing sunrise and sunset views.... We also did a fantastic hike, came back for a light lunch and joined a "game drive" which we usually would not. However we were blown away of Bruce's (the NR manager) knowledge about fauna, flora and geology. The whole lot? Anytime again!
