1. The heated pool- was too hot on the hot sunny days and too cold on the chilly days.- did not make sense. But what a pity! 2. Leaking patio roof over braai area! 3. Parking bays were a bit tight. But was manageable. 4. Carpet in TV room needs a good cleaning.- smells like old fishmoths.

Spacious rooms, all amenities for a homely stay provided (including fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms). Money well spent for a beautiful view and relaxing stay. Jacuzzi, pool, sauna, bar and beach close by with plenty of daily activities at pool deck or you simply make your own itinery to explore Margate. Friendly staff and good overall service and experience.

The water issues. The tap water is not fit for consumption and even after boiling, it doesn't taste good - salty and weird. I would suggest bringing your own water for cooking and drinking. They do provide water for refill I believe - near pool deck if I'm not mistaken - but it can be inconvenient to always go to fetch it. When you arrive you can get small bottled water and seems they like to give it as a present when you leave too 😅🤔😂

Overall an awesome place

Check on was not done 100% and we wernt told how the aircon token work! Went and bought one and realised that the long number on the keycard holder was the complimnetary token! Returned the one we bought explaining what happened and it was a huge issue! Paid with breakfast included and when we went to have breakfast we were told that we have a limit to R120 pp Ordered and were then told that we cant order a chicken basket, the proper breakfast is R128

The sea views from the (very large) balcony are incredible and we were lucky to see some whales on our last afternoon. The heated pool is a hit for the days when the beach is a bit windy or the weather isn't ideal - as a family we spent almost every afternoon at the entertainment / pool area. Given that August is still considered winter, we had stunning weather and a great stay. Lucien beach is a short walk away and was the best beach we visited during our trip.

The units could do with a cosmetic upgrade at some stage in the future. A word of advice - don't arrive early. Even if your unit is ready (we could see that our unit had been cleaned and "sealed"), reception would not allow us an early check-in. Rather arrive between 14h30 and 15h00.

We were out most of the evenings but the weather the view the room and facilities were top notch as always. We always come so nothing new but the experience is always better than the next

Location of the property and it's proximity to the beach. The sea views are breathtakingly beautiful.

You need to pay to use the air conditioner, it is on pre paid basis and south coast can get extremely hot at times.

Aircon is pre-paid. This is just ridiculous to expect guests to pay for aircon Uneccessarilly complicated check-in process

Been coming here for years. Will never consider going anywhere else. Perfect place to bring kids. Adults love it. Home away from home.

Im sorry to say but i always find the shower a bit of a problem. Takes very long to get he water right.

The breakfast was delicious and good value for money. It is always nice to come back to La Cote DAzur, because it is close to the beach and the patio is a bonus

Unfortunately due to Covid we could not invite our family members who live in Uvongo, but it is rules and regulations. The spare room needed a fan because of the extreme heat

Rooms were neat and clean place was lovely especially pool are The place seems to safe as well, staff were friendly

The fact that we have to sign for the activity equipment. Someone should be at the pool area to sign off equipment. Breakfast if it was buffet with variety and cereals would be great
