The breakfast was excellent. The room was actually quite nice. It is in a great location close to the nice section of the beach front.

The wifi is non existent. The bed needs new pillows.

It was clean and had everything one would need during the stay (working air conditioning, bar fridge, running hot water)

The fact that it did not have a microwave and the rooms are not soundproof. I could hear everything that was happening next door

The damp smell at 305 and the tv was uncear with only a few channels, otherwise everything else was perfect 🥰 💞

The accommodation is clean and offers good value for money and room pretty much has everything you need and quite comfortable. The stuff was on call and always happy to provide what we needed. Our room was neat, clean and so fresh and room service exceptional The service we received was of a outstanding standard considered the price we paid and compared to other places we've visited. It was refreshing not to experience loadshedding as they have a generator so it's was the physical and mental getaway we needed.

I honestly didn't look like the red and orange walls of the room we had. I get the African theme they we going for but it was aweful. Also the place was pretty a challenge to find even when using gps. We had to ask around alot to find the location

First thing I liked about the place was that they were so welcoming… I had booked the place for my mom and aunt and they enjoyed their stay. I had requested for them to change the room because my wow has knee issues and they did it without any issues. They were supposed to leave on Sunday but ended up leaving Monday and they didn’t have an issue and they just told us that we should feel like we are home away from home. They changed them to a different room as well due to the tv not working in their initial room without any hassles. Honestly their hosting skills are impeccable hands down…

Bed was comfortable and the place was. Clean

Aircon was not working, they should have informed us but we call and they said they will sort it out. Anyway it was cool as we opened the door and windows and the weather bad raining. Security at the top gate has to change his attitude. He did not attend us. We had to get out of the car and speak to explain to him we were lost we were looking for Margate Beach Loug at last he opened the gate

The location is Perfect and also their Dinner was well prepared

I think they need to enlarge the curtain rail for that it can close completely

Very friendly staff , Vuyo and her staff were outstanding, thank you for making our stay excellent . To the Manager Thank you Sir for going the extra mile and assisting us when our room Aircon stopped working due to the constant load shedding, although the Lodge was full Sir you managed to change our room with a working Aircon and great sea view. Margate Beach Lodge was the only Holiday accommodation that had Electricity During the constant loading shedding,the property has a massive Generator. Breakfast was EXCELLENT,

Sea view, friendly staff they know how to take care of the people.the room was clean bathroom clean and the beding.

on my arrival the room was smelling cigarette, false advertising about Dstv, in my room there was only one plug that was working out of 3 when i want to use kettle i had to take out fridge n put kettle. Directions to the place are not accurate i had to ask around for me to get to d place.
