The room was great but we have geyser issues with hot water.

There is a serious need for the chefs to cook better and revitalize the menu. Those potato chips are just horrible. The breakfast menu also needs to be changed. The hotel is a 4 star, but the menu kills it. The kitchen is also not clean. We showed the lady who was making eggs the cockroaches behind her climbing walls.. It was very disturbing, and it killed our appetite to eat. There is also a need to update the website as you are advistising things you don't have such free gym in the facility( the gym is in a shopping center and you need to pay R100 a day to use it) and the Waterpark doesn't work also. Apparently, since 2019 so please remove the false advertising.

1. Had to wait for a Table at the Hotel restaurant, Outside guests are allowed in restaurant, who fill up the tables. Hotel guests must get first priority. 2. Outside guests who attended the show Outside, walked in and out of restaurant. Excess to the show was through the restaurant. This is destirbing for the restaurant guests, the young crowd were loud and drunk, falling around and some had to be Carried out. Maybe another door must be used to gain access to the show at the back.

The Hotel is perfectly situated on Diaz beach, the had all the amenities we as a family needed. As regular travellers we really enjoyed our stay.

The frustration we found was service related. The reception staff where friendly but disorganised, the breakfast area to, very friendly staff but not enough to service the number of people. Although the hotel is positioned as a family hotel, the restaurant does not have opinions for Kids. the staff need training and effective management and it would be the perfect holiday destination

The rooms are clean with modern amenities. The rooms are all sea facing with good seating arrangement in the balcony. The staff is helpful and hard working. They try their best to help.

Slow wifi makes work from home difficult. Breakfast not many options for vegetarian guests. What is available is also very bad in taste. Looks stale and unfresh and unappealing. We were only two adults but those with kids shouldn't live here as it is very noisy with unbearable loud music even for adults when some fests are held. Parking too can be an issue as there is very limited number of parking on first come first occupied and the others have to park in another side of the building on first floor.

Breakfast was good,although some of the food were finished ŵhen we got there,and I did not see that they refill it.Some of it you could also.see was not fresh. We were making use of the restaurant, and the cockroaches was also very visible. We went there for only that onè night for supper,and never returned, because thè cockrouches was a big turn off. Our waiter that was allocated to us,seem like he had communication problems,and we had to wait a long time for him to assist in order to pay.The waitresses were not very helpful at all,except for one.What I also noticed is that Nowhere the Hotel manager were visible. My first experience of something like that.

The tiles on the floors were very dirty. They need a deep clean. Also Jewel of India,the food that they provide is not worth the money that you are paying.To me it was like a rip-off. Staff also is not friendly at all.

The view was superb! I want to wake up there every day of my life :) Room was comfortable, clean and everything you need. The breakfast was amazing, and enough options to keep one happy. Highly recommend the omelettes, they were WOW every day! The food for dinner was also well prepared, and a good size. The chocolate and lemon meringue cakes were amazing. Everything was clean, the outside bar and pool area, also well maintained. All in all WELL worth it

We have a few suggestions, we both walked into the corner of the bath, cut my knee open, and my spouse cut her toe. Maybe the corners can be rounded with a guard. Some of the fruit in the breakfast offer was really gross. at the pool area, maybe a good clean by the fence right next to the beach, it looks like it is being used to dump some stuff.

2 sets of music : one from beach club and one from Festival Would suggest beach club not play music whilst festival happening, or play music much softer. The beach club plays the music far too loud for residents who want to relax in their rooms. Shower when coming off the beach, would be great. This would alleviate sand in the pool.

The staff were exceptional! The view and location was ideal. The room was stunning and SO clean! Housekeeping was excellent with fresh linen ever-day! We just loved our stay at Diaz so much!

The only thing we can say about the perfect stay, is that we did have a tap leak in our bathroom that we did report three times. It was unfortunately not attended to. It left us with a bathroom floor that was flooded every morning until housekeeping could come in to tidy up. We had to use their beautiful white towels to soak up the water a bit. But, we do understand that it is festive season and getting a plumber out is not that easy! Other than that we were treated so lovely and our request about the tap was take into consideration!

Loved the proximity to the beach. The view of the ocean from the bed is great, not to mention the sound of the waves on the beach. The food was great and the resturant looks very appealing. The staff was very friendly and polite.

The wifi was very bad. We couldn't stream anything on the tv media box that was provided, nor could we do much browsing on our phones.

Unrivaled views. The extra water provided was awesome thank you , as the colour of the tap water was very suspicious. The reception staff ,Pumie especially was awesome, great service. Room comfortable and spacious with a stunning view from the bathroom as well. Outdoor pool awesome and quietly maintained, well done.

The bath was not cleaned properly. There were guests making loud noise at 1am Sunday morning, sitting outside adjacent the bar area. We were on 10th floor and were still disturbed. The fire alarm also went off twice and woke me up, this was traumatic. No safe access to the beach, the makeshift way was not ideal as I have knee problems. No real spa facilities ,on Thursday I tried to make an appointment with the resident facility ,earliest avaliable appointment was Monday,when we were leaving. This is a joke of a spa facility. Same thing happened last year. There was a smell of poo , in the bathroom from the plumbing ,but opening windows and closing plugs with some water in basons stopped the smell.
