We had a wonderful stay at Banhoek Corner Guest House. The location is beautiful, with stunning views of the mountains and vineyards, making it a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The owner was very nice and welcoming, offering great recommendations for nearby wineries and activities, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again!

Our stay at Banhoek Corner Guesthouse was absolutely delightful. The hotel is beautifully situated, offering stunning surroundings that add to its charm. Enjoying breakfast on the porch with the serene view made it even more special. Magda, the owner, was incredibly pleasant and kind, always ensuring we felt welcome. The location was excellent, 5 odd km's out of Stellenbosch and close to the wedding we were attending in Boschendal .... the breakfasts were just lovely and freshly cooked, lovely fresh fruit and lots of bread selections too. the Best Bit though is the lovely friendly staff...oh and the beds were super-comfortable and the shower was really good too.... beautiful furniture pieces all about and lovely art too

our room was a bit noisy, close to the road, so when we visit again I will request a room facing the other side of the guesthouse, which will be much quieter.

We were a group of friends who travelled South Africa together for the first time and we found heaven of earth in the Banhoek Corner Guesthouse. It is perfectly located just outside of Stellenbosch and very close to some of the best wine estates and restaurants in the region. It was clean and cozy, the staff was very friendly and we just had the best time. Shout out to the Manager Magda who made us feel very welcomed and ensured that everything is fine for us. We will definitely come back.

Highly recommending to stay at Banhoek Corner Guesthouse when in Stellenbosch! The views, the comfort of the rooms, the friendliness and hospitality of the owner, Caspar, was beyond all expectations. Caspar gave us great tipps of what to do in the area, be it hikes to secret waterfalls or wine tastings at his favorite vineyards. He regularly checked in to make sure we are well taken care of and nothing is missing, from pool floaties to champagne coolers :)

Location is adjacent to busy road, which generates noise for much of the day. Not that the guest house can do much about this. But something to be aware of. It did not spoil our stay on this occasion.

Banhoek Corner Guest House is an old home that has been beautifully restored and renovated. All the staff on site were friendly and welcoming and made sure we felt at home and were very accommodating. Magda provided us with wonderful recommendations on where to dine and visit in the area. The rooms were comfortable with a very spacious bathroom. The orientation the guest house allows you to enjoy the beautiful views of the Helshoogte valley.

The shower pressure wasn't great, and the room proved a little tight for a couple sharing with a week's worth of luggage.

We had a wonderful warm welcome from Magda who showed us around the beautiful garden and shared some gems about local places to visit and SA foods to enjoy. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed with a lovely spacious bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed the pool set in tranquil surrounds. We really hope to be able to visit again, for longer.

Absolutely amazing house in old colonial style with tastefully furbished rooms. There are lots of lounge areas to chill and relax and the pool is very good and offers a view on the mountains. Breakfast is fabulous and lady the owner is extremely welcoming and accomodating that made our stay very very pleasant There are 2 vineyards just 5 minutes drive

Absolutely nothing about this place, all exceeded expectations the only point I would mention is the ubers might not be easy to get in the evening as they dont really want to drive to the city, sometimes might take an hour to get but that might be us being unfortunate with that

Stunning location, all the staff are first class but a special mention to Magda, not intrusive but there to help if needed and wants to ensure her guests are looked after. Excellent breakfast options, a different freshly baked item daily on top of cooked options. Room no 9 was spotless, overlooked the pool. Not sure what more you’d want from a guesthouse.
