Amazing service people attitide. I have not received so overall information from the room what I received veru friendly staff member @ Lanzerac. Spa was amazing and they do have real sauna there at the spa. Only one comment about the sauna, that you should have Finnish sauna stove and not Swedish because Finnish sauna companies makes the world wibe the best sauna stoves. But still I did really enjoyed this sauna experience in South Africa Stellenbosch. Views was amazing at the pool area to see winery fields. Restaurant top of the Wine cellar was amazing and those waitresses was amazing indeed. I really recommend Eggs Benedict there and with the eggs benedict couple wine glasses. What an amazing experience in this place. This was real sanctuary!

If you want to stay in paradise. it is a luxury hotel, the rooms are very well decorated, first-rate service, excellent quality products, as well as wonderful wines. It is impeccable. I have nothing to say against this hotel, everything was perfect. We chose to stay at the hotel for the second time and enjoyed the visit to the winery, wine tasting and dinner with wonderful meat at the Taphuis restaurant. The breakfast is excellent with a welcome sparkling wine and also first-class service with very attentive people and delicious dishes.

A beautiful establishment with all the facilities one would expect of a 5-star hotel. The room was spacious and extremely well-equiped - the mini-bar superb. Beautiful grounds and friendly staff all-round.

It would've been a perfect (10's all round) stay if only the person that checked me in was able to address me in my first language - instead I was told upfront that they will proceed in English becuase they feel more comfortable in that language. It would have been great if that person called upon a collegaue to serve me in my preferred language, becuase staff were nearby that would've been able to do just that.

The property is wonderful and totally relaxing. It was a little disappointing when we arrived with bags etc and the guy in the entrance lobby just got in the way. Could have at least opened the door. Wasn’t sure he actually worked there but he was there again the next day. Didn’t receive our welcome drink either most likely as we were early and then in a rush to the spa… but it’s the little things. The shuttle service to town was excellent the driver was excellent. Super friendly with a lovely smile! Our evening waiter was also excellent and remembered us in the morning, very sweet as my friend was not able to make breakfast as she was not well and he was most concerned. So all in all it was wonderful just a small blip at the beginning 😀

The most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed in. Amazing rooms: mini bar included (incl. bottle of wine!), wooden floors, sleigh bed, wooden shutters. Bathroom: double sink, huge shower, free standing bath, under floor heating. Service team came to room regularly (when we were not there) to tidy, clean, turn down etc. full 5 star experience. AMAZING Spa included in the price, even the sun loungers were padded for comfort. Breakfast was also exceptional, a la carte, large portions.

This could not be a better hotel.

The food and the service were excellent; the rooms are big and the landscape is gorgeous! The food was the highest quality and the vines are great and a big reason to come back. Most positive: everyone who works there cares, is attentive, and super friendly - we had the best time! the swimming pool is great, the whole estate is beautiful and clean!

The building needs some renovation: you hear and feel the wind blowing through the (beautiful but old) windows; There were smudges on some carpets in the Spa and in other rooms and the gym was a disappointment: old machines, one bike was super squeaking loudly, the (mechanic!) speed controller did not work (they had no display, no timer, nothing...), the stepper display did not work; we told the staff, they tried to fix it themselves; we left without a result;

Breakfast, excellent, service and staff excellent. Beautiful room. A wonderful place to stay. Courtesy bus a great extra. Restaurant - dinner in the Manor Kitchen delightful. Great value for money.

I was surprised and dissapointed that the lovely Lounge Bar was a smoking bar. Smokers from events around the hotel, came into the bar simply to smoke. Rather than go outside a number of people left their event, with their drink, came into the bar asked for an ashtray and puffed away. Then left. This made this beautiful old bar nothing more than a smoking room. We checked the bar the next evening and as there were no smokers we enjoyed a delightful nightcap. (but unfortunatley the bar smelt heavily of cigarettes)

This is an exceptional hotel in a great green location surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Very comfortable room, and an outstanding breakfast. It is a bit pricy but worth visiting. I liked that wine tasting and a vine cellar visit were included in the price. They have also accommodated my request for late checkout.

I ordered extra service, i.e. dinner on Saturday evening, but did not get a confirmation. Reception could be more effective in communication with guests. Dinner with vine pairing was excellent though.

Exceptionally beautiful, great ambiance with everything you could possibly need. Spacious room with a very comfortable extra-large bed. Luxuriate in the wonderful bath while enjoying a glass of complimentary wine and snacks. Amazing surroundings and location. Thank you to the staff for the warm welcome, excellent service and for making our stay memorable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
