This is an amazing place - calling it just a hotel doesn't do it justice! Joaquin has clearly put all his heart and soul into this. We only stayed overnight, but he was realy accommodating with the late check-in and made sure we were greeted with a nice breakfast (quite) early in the morning. This is also by far one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. Great parking area right in front of the house as well. If you are looking for a place in the area, look no further - Joaquin will make sure you have a perfect stay. This was our last stop on the way back home after two weeks of travels through Spain, south of France, and Andorra. Having stayed in 8 different hotels throughout the journey, this one was definitely the highlight / one of the best ones - made us not want to go home:) (The only reason it's not 5 stars on Google is because of a review that was clearly written in error)

Not a negative, just an FYI - as this is a house, there's no lift. It is also in a residential area so slightly off the "main road", but roads are in a good state and not too narrow either. Also, rooms are not as spacious as some of the roadside hotels might offer, but even with a cot/pram we didn't feel too cramped.

Beautiful curved terrace in main area to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun set over the sea and mountains. Very clean room, big comfy bed, and good shower. We also got an upgrade with a private terrace. Staff are helpful and there are small touches throughout with decor, book swop etc. This was our second visit and we will be back. Good, easy parking outside. Amazing Breakfast, lots, and good variety, bonus is it is served on the terrace with the sea views if you wish.

Joaquim was a wonderful host. The breakfast (and espresso coffee) was the best I had my whole stay in the Almeria area.

I was on the ground floor just off the reception area, and a couple decided to stay up talking in the foyer/reception area until after midnight.

We absolutely loved our stay the host was exceptional and the breakfast was delishious, resturants were a quick walk to the beach, several great resturants. We had this delishious pastry from the host which made our drive so much better. Thank you again!

We loved everything!

This place is definitely worth 5 stars! The hotel itself is a beautiful example of the local architecture, our room was very clean and comfy. Since the hotel is on a hill, the view was spectacular from almost any angle. The host deserves a lot of praise too - what a smart, friendly and welcoming person (he speaks Spanish, English and German by the way). He made our stay very pleasant and was very attentive and thoughtful. I loved the breakfast too! Thank you very much, Joaquin :)

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is faultless. Great location, warm welcome, great facilities, and above all, has a soul. We particularly liked arriving and be offered a cold beer at the terrace. last night after our walk in town we were greeted by such an ambiance music, and, again, a warm welcome. Breakfast was delicious, and the farewell was more like a welcome back, soon. Thank you.

We could not fault this hotel. We had a great stay.

Breakfast were very very good. A lot better than an ordinary continental breakfast. Location was lovely near the beach with views and awesome Mountain View’s behind. Quiet location too.

The room was comfortable and clean, the terraces were amazing with fantastic views just to sit and relax on, the breakfast was delicious and Joaquin himself was a wonderful host, so attentive and friendly and incredibly helpful. We had a really lovely stay here and would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel had lovely terraces on different levels with either sea or mountain views. Breakfast was a delicious platter of smoked salmon, cheese, salad, croissants & toast. Our host, Joaquin, couldn't have been more helpful.

Very attentive host who went over and above to make our stay pleasant. Good breakfast.
