For me this was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The room was a perfect temperature and the hotel was stylish and comfortable. We walked into the town and found a place to eat that was fine for myself and children. It was really lovely to see a bustling town with friendly faces. I would like to take advantage of the hotels food and wine tour on my next visit.

One of the best place I ve ever been. Was very surprised that this hotel has only 2*. The hotel is connected to a winery therefore the atmosphere is excellent. Very good smells by the way. The room is perfect and authentic - we had the room “opera” if I remember correctly - very beautiful and comfortable. I recommend this hotel.

Perfect place, nothing to complain

Our stay at Hotel-Bodega La Casa del Cofrade was originally a simple one night stay on our journey From Denia to Santander where we would board the ferry to Portsmouth. It turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. From the time we walked through the front door to the time we left we felt as though the staff were doing all they could to really look after us. I fully intend to return to this hotel and stay longer at some time in the future. We were fortunate to have arrived on a day when the hotel was hosting a 'Frank Sinatra theme night' There was an evening meal provided in the wine cellar and later in the grounds of the hotel a singer performed many Sinatra classics. He was quite brilliant. The food and wine was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. It was an evening my wife and I will remember for a long time. Normally, visitors to the hotel can have a tour of the bodega. Unfortunately, our schedule was a little tight and that was not possible for us. We were still able to purchase a case of the excellent wine we had sampled with the meal.

we didn't stay for a meal, but what we did see looked very good, the hotel was very good, the staff were friendly and helpful, the wine tasting and tour was very good, I don't speak Spanish, but they did their best to accommodate me and my girlfriend translated where she could, but I had a great time.

We loved the welcoming atmosphere, all the staff appeared genuinely interested in us enjoying our stay. The wine tour and tasting were excellent. Sofia, our guide, was charming, intelligent and enthusiastic about the hsitorical and cultural connections as well as the wine. There is a reasonable restaurant nearby.

We would have like to have dined at the hotel, but we didn't know we had to book in advance. It's possible we overlooked.

Exceptionally warm welcome. Lots of local information and an unexpected tour of the cellar and an interesting introduction to their connection with the now lost local monastery. Close to Logrono, which we enjoyed in the evening. Good breakfast was an extra cost.

Our room faced the road but luckily was not busy or noisy. On arrival there seemed to be an unusual odour in our room, which disappeared after opening the windows!

Everything was lovely: the location, food, wine, and staff. The area is absolutely beautiful as soon and it's worth walking past the light industry in the area to get to the rivers, mountains, and villages.

The place was really comfy, awesome garden, really nice breakfast (don't miss the rye bread and jams), and right on the wine cellar (we got to visit it the next morning and do a wine tasting). It was overall a great experience

Very well designed and finished - the room we had (number 101) was large and well laid out, including a useful balcony area. The staff were very enthusiastic about the hotel and the history of the location - which included a significant monastery. The included tour of the winery was excellent and included being shown (albeit first class copies) of manuscripts from the Dark Ages. Breakfast was characterised by a good selection of top quality items served as a continental breakfast. There was free off road parking. The bar was nice - with good quality local offerings. The location was very good for us as we we heading to Soria from Bilbao - the road from this hotel to Soria is very nice and scenic.

Nothing - although the village it is in is not of itself very picturesque, the hotel and its staff would be hard to beat!
