Arriving very late after a lengthy drive from Paris, after 2am, we were pleasantly surprised by the ground floor rooms we were given. We had our teens in a room with twin beds, but when we entered our room with a queen-sized bed at the other end of the hall, we were disappointed by the strong ashtray smell of the non-smoking room. However, the Ukrainian night clerk quickly found a solution for us, and we were changed to a room across the hall from our kids that was comfortable and clean. We were there just for a good night of sleep before continuing on our homeward journey. My daughter and I woke earlier than our other family members, and enjoyed the ample buffet breakfast.

The only disappointment was the smokey smelling room we were first put in, but that was quickly rectified. (My husband has an allergy sensitivity to perfumes and other scents, like cigarette smoke.)

Comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff, convenient to main Madrid-Burgos route.

Dining/lobby area too bright, not really designed for relaxing. The order-in pizzas were quite expensive, but with no dog friendly restaurants nearby it's the only choice.

Fantastic staff. They couldn’t do enough to help accommodate us. Beer at reception was very good.

Relation to amenities. We arrived with our dog expecting to dine next door but found that the restaurant closed down in covid and was left derelict.

The guy who greeted us at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room clean and spacious - as expected. Breakfast difficult to say: decent variety and great fresh bread. Ham nice and good jams. Coffee was awful.

The woman at breakfast was not that friendly. Some breakfast items very poor (coffee and Spanish omelette), although others were OK.

As a dog owner, I truly appreciate the pet friendly policy Ibis has. We had a wonderful stay.

The room was really comfortable and spacious. Definitely a good value for the money and a very convenient location for a stopover on long road trip. The staff were all very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

The only thing that could be improved was the cleanliness in the reception level bathroom.

location. Its very far from Alcala downtown. Close to shopping mall and big department stores but no residencial life or activities around

Ideal stop off, easy access and puts ideal secure parking. Dog friendly although no restaurants in the town allowed us in with the dog. We ate in the Italian on the retail park next door and left dog in the car just outside.

Breakfast was adequate, good location for an overnight stop from the south to north of Spain.

I know most hotels charge for dogs but I thought €20 for 2 very small dogs was a bit steep

Basic, had all we needed. Comfy bed, everything was very clean. All staff (we dealt with 3 ) very friendly and very helpful . Good car parking, easy access to shopping mall. Very nice continental breakfast.

I was in Spain so didn't expect it, but some English TV would have been nice.
