Occidental Aranjuez

This is the second time we've stayed here and it didn't disappoint! The room is clean and very spacious - as is the bathroom. The view of the sun going down was lovely! Breakfast was great - with a choice of continental and cooked food. I particularly liked the fact there was a kettle in the breakfast room - as normally I have to accept less than hot water from a machine while having a cup of tea.

The only possible downside to the room was the heat! It was early February we stayed but the room was 25.5 degrees when we arrived (the curtains were open and the sun had been shining through all day I'm guessing). I set the temperature to 16 degrees but it never went anywhere near so we didn't sleep as well as we'd have liked.

Great hotel, very comfortable with the most amazing friendly staff, not sure if they are just like this or have been trained to be friendly! Swimming pool outside which we didn't use unfortunately as the weather was not good. Free car park on the road outside the hotel.

Could have been closer to town, it was a drive away, not a problem for us as we had a car, but would need a taxi without a car. Easy to park in town, free as well.

The reception staff were really helpful and cheerful throughout especially Carlos (also Victor during our checkout). Enjoyed the massage by Maria in the spa. Spa facilities and swimming pool are really nice and the breakfast was delicious with variety. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable.

There were limited food options for room service.

The breakfast was excellent.The cheese selection, pastry and fresh juices was available. Big pool where my kids enjoyed a lot and they let us stayed for a swim even after check out.

Except for the consumables where evrything need to request (no brush, slippers neither comb) although their services are very fast. My expectation was high because it is a 4 star hotel where all the consumables are readily available.

It is a very modern, clean, quiet and comfortable spacious hotel. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. The stunning swimming pool was open so we were able to enjoy it. Buffet Breakfast is varied and plentiful. The bedrooms are big with good mattresses. Air conditioning was good too.

It is not within walking distance of Aranjuez’s Town Centre so residents do need a car but there is a bus stop just outside the hotel.

We spent 2 nights here on our way to Granada. We arrived after a long flight and appreciated the clean facilities and comfy beds. we would have spent another night here on the way back, but were unable to book for only one night. Supermarket is close and a good restaurant is only a block away.

The hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They spoke both English and Spanish. We had a lovely dinner in the bar the night we arrived. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was fantastic! Great selection of food and it was very tasty.

Incredible room! Mega King size bed, big size room, very cozy atmosphere. Modern big bathroom. Very clean. Well smelled at all the hotel. The hotel impressed from the reception and hall. And, Truly- the best aqua Spa I’ve ever tried! Will definitely return back. Thank you! Good luck 👍

Room and Breakfast were excellent,, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable.

Good to see 'very adequate' facilities being provided to refugees,,, not an issue for the hotel management but the location is a little inconvenient for a visit to Aranjuez ( to walk is further than we had expected, but only 4/ 5 minutes to go by car.

Very comfortable room which was a good size. In fact the whole hotel gave impression of space. I asked for a large bed and it certainly was and very comfortable too. Pool was not open so cannot comment on that. Breakfast was comprehensive, delicious and with attention to covid protocol. We used this hotel as a stopover on our journey to Malaga, superb and will use them again.

The only thing I did not like was a stained toilet. Not dirty , just water stain. Evening dinner menu was basic, burgers or salad.
