Beds are firm but comfortable, heating was superb, bathroom was newly renovated and super clean with more than expected supplies, hot water was fast and abundant, closet was spacious, decoration was funny American stile.

A molding was coming down from the ceiling, easy to repair but maybe the staff has not seen it yet. It is a bit disappointing that the construction materials used for the renovation do not take into account acoustics, you can listen to everything happening in the building.

Very welcoming reception and pleasant staff (who made a big fuss of our dog - always a good sign!). Our room was comfortable and spacious. Parking nearby to unload luggage from the car was easy. Longer-term parking (just outside the city wall) was cheap (€0.90 for 24 hours) and plentiful. Avila is a beautiful and compact city to explore.

Unfortunately, the room was hot at night - it had been a warm day in late June. Even with the window open (on to an internal light well) there was very little air movement -air con would have been nice, but is unrealistic at the bargain price.

I liked the location it was great. The beds were confy. I was treated very well. I was also given a bottle of water for free that was a great small detail. I also liked the fact that you could see the cathedral from the window of the room

I didn't like that the bathroom was smelly after I used it once. No matter how many times I flushed it, it kept smelling. So I had to close the door while I was sleeping. But when I used it it was almost unbearable.

Surprising interior decoration. Optimistic, thought-provoking sentences written on the walls of corridors and rooms. And the purpose of my journey was to make some life decisions. Thank you for your help. The hostel, the staff, the city - one of my best stays in recent years.

Very good value for the money and very nice attic room where all 4 of us easily could sleep for the night. For dinner receptionist gave us recommendation with discount voucher for nearby restaurant and there we were served delicious food for very good price (even without the discount)

Receptionist English was near to non existent and since our Spanish is even bellow this, we had some difficulties to communicate. Despite this we could get all necessary information.

Le Vintage hostal is in Avila city centre, inside the walls and next to the town hall plaza. Easy access anywhere in town on a walking distance. Free parking only outside the walls, not far away that much. It's possible to park temporarily the car close to the hostal to load or unload the luggage. The room for our family was ok, not that much space but still manageable. We asked for a baby bed with no extra costs. Good wifi connection and the room was good value for the money.

Our towels were never changed during our stay and at least one change could have been made. The room could also be a little bit more cleaner since we travelled with our kids. Missing a trash can in the room, only a very small one in the bathroom.

Bed was quite comfy. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was great to have a fridge

My room was quite hot, even with a fan, compared to the air in the hall outside my door. It was a hot week and my room was hotter than the ambient air in other places in the hotel.

Wonderful town. Great location. Excellent facility.

Hotel is not accessible by car. Half a block walk into the square. I did find parking in the city lot 2 blocks away. It was easy and no problem as I didn't have luggage.

Great value for money. Very comfortable bed and great shower

For our taste it got a little hot in the room. It would have been nice to be able to switch off the radiator.

Quiet, clean. Good position in old city.

It would be nice if there was a downstairs lounge to relax in and perhaps talk with other guests and have coffee available.
