Rooms are pretty good and comfortable, location excellent, bang in the middle of the old town by the cathedral, staff are friendly and attentive. They take dogs which is good as we have one. Breakfast has 5 or 6 pre-set menus for a fixed price (around 10 to 12 euros) which makes sense for a small hotel (the person on reception also serves breakfast).

The hotel arranged some parking nearby which worked well but accessing the car park is tight for an Audi A6, not a criticism just an observation - somewhat typical for an old medieval town centre where space is cramped. Mixed experience in the restaurant one evening, very good pizza but a poor salad starter dish.

Room size, cleanliness, layout and extras, like the little open-air terrace, made this stay stand out during our 2-week family road trip around Spain. Not to mention the convenience of the location, in the heart of stunning old-town Ávila and the excellent breakfast.

Only minor complaint is that there was no bathroom door (modern-design choice) or way to cover the shower, so other people staying in the same bedroom, entirely outside the bathroom proper, would have full view of your "humanity", head to toe, as you take your shower. You better feel very comfortable in your skin and have full trust in the individuals you're sharing your bedroom with.

the new renovations applied to an old building make for a beautiful and romantic setting, full of class and charm like anyone should ever want to experience.

the shower door occasionally leaks out from the corner of the hinge, causing what feels like water damage to the subfloor at the threshold. additionally, the toilet has a very unusual and temperamental trickle. those things aside, i have nothing to complain about!!

Very modern little hotel rigt in the city center.

Poor breakfast. When I arrived to breakfast there was no bread, no orange juice and no waitress to ask. Not normal for a 4 star hotel.I had to ask the cleaning lady for bread. The tables were left with dirty dishes of other clients which gives a bad image. Once again for check-out I had to look for someone (she was in the kitchen) because the reception is left alone. I think there is only one person working there (apart the cleaining lady) and she has to do everything.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We appreciated the large and comfortable bed. The modern renovation of an old building had been sympathetically carried out.

The room was extremely hot and not air conditioned. Lighting was poor and it was too dark to read. There was inadequate cupboard and wardrobe space for 2 people. Breakfast started late at 8.30.

Typical Spanish breakfast made to order with various cereals, fruit, yoghurt, meat & cheese ect, Rooms very modern and up market. Comfy king size bed Central location within the walls of the city. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Only one chair in the room. No bar facility although work appears to be ongoing without interfering with guests enjoyment of the hotel .

Overall and room was very clean, in the city center very close to points of interest. The room was very spacious!

All was good. I felt a bit intimidated by the fact that the front desk was unattended after 10pm. However, I did not need any assistance during the night. Hot water seemed to run out before I finished bathing, not sure if it was a system fault or not.

The location was why this property was chosen just inside the city walls. Very modern and clean.

The bathrooms had no doors and despite being married for 39 years I still prefer privacy. The air conditioning was not great either hot or cold.

An excellent small hotel in an incredible location in the centre of Avila Would advise parking in the main car parks outside of the City Walls and walking in. Friendly service An excellent breakfast Large rooms with original historic features A perfect stay

Great location, lovely and helpful reception staff - Katerina and the lady from Russia were both fabulous. The breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable.

We couldn't control the air-condioning so our room was very warm. The buttons did not seem to change the temperature. Lights in the bathroom were very bright!
