Quiet location, small detour from the highway. No problem with parking, could leave car right in front of the entrance. Restaurant downstairs where they serve nice dinner till quite late time, so you won't be starving after daylong trip. Aircon in the room kept it cool before arrival.

Bottle of drinking water in the room would be nice, though you may ask for it at the reception. Bathroom facilities require some renovation. Lack of wall sockets, you may use either bra or charge you phone.

Room was a good size and a bit quirky e.g. steps up to bathroom. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was plentiful. Nice garden area to sit in. A short walk uphill to the centre of the village with it's beautiful church and castle. We will return to explore the area more extensively.

Entrance was locked on arrival with a phone number to call, but we could get no answer. Eventually, I knocked on the door and we were admitted. We were then advised that hotel was cash only which fortunately for us was not a problem, but in today's world I can imagine it being a major problem for other guests. There was nothing in the particulars on the website to indicate that this was the case. According to Booking.com credit cards are accepted.

Very traditional Spanish, lovely location in a small time in the hills. Comfortable room and it all felt very safe.

The property and accommodation I lovely but ather obvious really, I didn’t speak Spanish and since this was inland, Spanish was everything although I did manage to get by since the owner had some small English.

Super charming hotel in a beautiful "pueblo" in the countryside. I would really recommend staying here, it was one of the highlights of our trip. We could park the car right in front and they accepted pets with a small surcharge.

The bathroom is not entirely separated from the rest, there is only a sliding door.

Beautiful hotel in a little town with lots of history and fantastic views. We stayed here in our journey from north to the south of Spain. Great find… hotel owner was very hospitable, friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly too… the room was beautiful. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel which was great too. Will definitely return.

Probably this rural hotel is the best we have ever had the pleasure in staying. The location was excellent, the design and decor stunning. The restaurant and service faultless. Can not help but recommend it to all who would enjoy a stay in a small but interesting village with a beautiful castle and superb views.

The property was very nice comfortable and clean. Staff were great. Nice Continental breakfast. Would recommend the hotel. If you like to eat early though you will struggle there was nothing open.

We had very nice room with terrace but bathroom was not so separated from the room - only by glass sliding doors with big gaps... Would be nice to have mosquito net as in this village are many mosquitos.

Location is beautiful, the room was spacious and had a terrace and the rustic design was charming. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, the food is excellent.

No hairdryer in the room. Not so related to the hotel itself, but just be aware that if you don't like to park your car downhill, the parking spaces in the same street as the hotel can be quite a challenge.

Wonderful stopover at this beautiful inn within a renovated historic building. It has a lovely feel and is very nicely done. We had a great meal one of the best we’ve eaten in Spain, food was superb and breakfast was generous and good too. It’s a beautiful old town to walk around and explore.

Only downside is tricky parking on the hill outside and finding the hotel in the old streets of the village.
