The hotel (inside) is very modern and in a quiet area of the city. Metro is only a few steps away, and is one of the main lines towards the center I've read some people complaining about the hotel being uphill from the metro station (Lesseps); So the easiest way is to take the next stop (Vallcarca) and 90% of the road will be downhill towards the hotel. So in the morning we walked to Lesseps, and when coming back stopped at Vallcarca. At 50m is Lesseps is a little local bakery, do not hesitate to stop. Concerning the hotel, if the room with terrace is still available when booking, take it. The view on the city is amazing!

The hotel has been renovated some time ago. Some little details should be checked out again. For example, one of the plinths was (very) loose, probably for some time. Which is a pity for an amazing modern room.

Some of the staff were really friendly, especially one who greeted us with a smile and took care of the luggage upon our arrival.The restaurant had a very good menu selection and food was really good. Diego, who took care of the restaurant was really kind, very informative and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet him. Rooms were always clean and well kempt.

Noise from outside in the evening was common and the fact that taxis were not always available in that area (even when booked by hotel staff) was a bit of a problem on 2 occasions. Having an 80 year old required us to walk a distance which was not comfortable for the person but otherwise for younger people it was just fine - metro was 6 mins away by walk

The one bedroom room was somewhat old furnished and basic. Nothing like the one I selected when I booked . I would expect more from 4 * hotel to be honest . But The bed was comfortable enough , so no complains about that . A change of curtains and wall painting , especially ceiling painting would be a good idea. The bathroom was spacious and clean , except that there was an annoying sound that I could hear from the bathtub drains when taking a shower . The hotel has a small swimming pool at the rooftop , but it was always full of screaming children , so I didn’t get a chance to use it . The location is good , its close to the city centre, 10 min away from the nearest Metro , however its very hilly area , so be ready for a proper workout !

The hotel was very nice, and the staff were friendly and attentive. There was a rooftop pool and patio which was very nice and had a great view of Barcelona. There was a lobby bar that was very nice and convenient, because the hotel was a bit remote. There was food service, but it didn't seem to be utilized. The room was well decorated, clean and well maintained. The bathroom had modern finishes, but the layout was awkward. The Hotel was conveniently located close to Guadi's Park Guell which is an attraction that must be experienced if traveling to Barcelona.

My room was a bit small, and the window looked into and odd court with views directly into adjacent rooms, so there wasn't a sense of privacy. The layout of the bathroom was very awkward. The sink and adjacent tub/shower were fine, but the toilet & bidet were behind the swing of the door and in a very narrow space with the front of the fixtures very close to the opposite wall, which made it very uncomfortable. The hotel was very remote, up hill, and a bit of a hike to and from shops and transit. I took the train into Barcelona and it was a schlep with my luggage, up hill on narrow congested streets. I had planned to take the metro to the airport, but instead opted to get a car.

Room was clean and spacious, gym facilities were useful and the upstairs pool area was really nice too! Location was fantastic and only a short walk to nearest metro station. Special shout out to Nikita at the front desk who helped us massively on our last day and was by far the most helpful staff member of our whole stay.

Not a lot at all but our room was entered by staff three times without our permission (Do Not Disturb sign on the door) which wasn't great, and one particular staff member was not helpful at all with our requests.

I’d been before but read some poor reivews so didn’t book it for our main trip but when our flight was cancelled and we needed another night I booked it. It was friendly clean the rooms not huge bit mine with balcony was lovely. I knew it was slightly out of main area but loved the local feel. Great pizzeria for dinner and fab views from rooftop pool.

Some rooms are a little dated I would imagine the rooftop gets crowded time when you go otherwise it was full of families that’s fine but plan for it sure it’s quieter when the families are doing meals sightseeing or sleeping

The size of the room was great. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water in the room. The hotel was very clean. The variety at breakfast was also great - we particularly enjoyed the fresh omelettes every morning (cooked to taste), the fresh orange juice and selection of milk on offer. The views from the rooftop terrace were lovely. We also found it easy to walk into the centre - we did this walk every day (although it did take around 30 minutes).

No outdoor seating facilities to enjoy food/drink (although perhaps it wasn't the season for it - however visiting from Scotland, we wanted to enjoy the sunshine as much as possible so definitely would have taken advantage of that). The aircon in the room did not appear to work properly. On final day, we were relaxing on our terrace when a substantial amount of drain water was poured onto our terrace by a pipe on the higher floors. We did tell reception about this however not sure what caused this. It did prevent us from enjoying terrace after this incident.

The rooms were modern and spacious, the beds were very comfy. The bathroom is well equipped and fantastic shower. The best thing about this hotel is definitely a rooftop pool, there are not many hotels in Barcelona that have pools and are this affordable! Big shoutout to the waiter who serves you drinks and food by the pool, he is absolutely fantastic!

Be prepared to be fairly outside of the centre. It is around 20+ mins to get to Placa Catalunya on the metro, and a hilly walk to get to the hotel from the nearest metro stop, Lesseps.

The lady on the reception was super welcoming and kind. First impression is very important for tourists, especially for those who visit Spain for the first time ever. Thank you very much.(January 6, evening). Hotel is located close to the underground station, there are few groceries within walking distance. Beds are comfortable, mattress quality is obviously pretty much good.

Nothing bad to be honest but there is only one thing to improve: Please put a kettle for God’s sake. After a long walk in Barcelona we wanted to have a cup of tea but for hot water we were obliged to go downstairs and take boiled water there from the bar counter. We were really surprised by this fact, as it is 4 star hotel

Hotel is close to metro station and had plenty of places to eat in the surrounding area. The staff were fantastic, they were very helpful when it came to finding places to eat which was written down for me to check out and asked if they could arrange and transfers for me before i left. I already knew the area so didn't need it. Great view over the city from the rooftop pool area, The Sagrada Familia and the sea can be seen in the distance.

Not the hotels fault but there's a bin collection quite early every morning on the street of the hotel, it can be quite loud and i was woken on a few occasions by it. The hotel is otherwise fantastic i can't fault it at all. Very much worth the stay.
