Great stay overall and highly recommended. Ambiance was great and friendly, from start to end. Every day cultural activities are planned in the afternoon, then dinners and/or drinks in the hostel, and afterwards going together with the party leader to a pub and club. Staff is well organized and friendly, respecting their shifts for cleaning. The hostel has 3 floors with dorms, with 1 wc and 1 shower room per each floor. Cleanliness is well maintained. Rooms are comfortable and allowing privacy. Respectful for keeping party/sleep hours. It’s really up to you how you want to make of this experience and stay!

Everything was perfect and great! Some recommendations maybe to make it even better: - Keep the pre-dorm doors closed by default, in the morning can get louder even if it is with earplugs - Consider having some activities also about basic European/Spanish culture and history, simplified, especially for those coming from outside Europe

THE STAFF is the best thing of the Hostel, best ppl I’ve crossed path with traveling through Europe. Volunteers put their heart and soul in everything they do. You will meet the best ppl from all over the world. The staff was amazing! Super friendly and welcoming. Loved the family dinners that they provided at night. Everyday they had activities that we could join. The AC in the rooms and curtains worked great! Private outlet and lamp for each bed. The kitchen was well organized and clean. Free filtered water and coffee station with biscuits. Free storage room for our luggage when we checked out The recommendations of things to do from the staff (especially Fran, Sofia and Raquel) were great! I was in the 6 people's dorm, and the space was limited when we walked between our beds with our drawers opened. The hooks and drawers could be numbered (like the beds) so that we all have space for our towels and bags. The side of my bed was a bit dirty (papers and old contact lenses laying there). The pillow was a tiny and thin. 1 toilet and 1 shower per floor were not enough to provide for over 10 guests/floor in the morning and night.

The administrator was amazing! Waited for me when my flight was delayed at night. He was very kind and professional. The bed is clean, good size, curtains are a plus. The shower cabin is large and well-designed. Doesn't look like a hostel shower, more like home. A carpet in the shower room? Wow! There are tons of activities, which I did not make use of because I was only there for one night, but there is always something going on. It is safe and despite being the only female in the room with men, I felt safe and well. Tea/coffee was available for free.

I found someone's chewing gun stuck on the personal shelf by my bed, which was disgusting and makes me think the cleaning staff doesn't clean that deep. I think the stairs to the upper bulk need to be renovated, they look old and ugly and therefore unclean. I was on the lower bulk and it was right in front of my eyes all the time, didn't feel like touching anything. The rooms are REALLY small. For one night it was totally fine, but people place their luggage all over the floor and here you go, you don't have any more space in the room to move. There are no desks or chairs in the room, not even one.

Adorable stay, in particular a very kind and welcoming attitude. The activities were numerous including discos at night, I found appreciable that they try to motivate guests to participate without never forcing it or even implicitely making you inconfortable for not joining. Extra thanks to Brenda and Rafa ! As I interacted more frequently with them. I have to say that all staff member share a distinctive benevolent and kind energy. They have chosen well their position and really fit with the energy of a youth hostel.

I understand the noise-related issue, but I would have appreciated that the terrasse would be opened later. Some care should be put on making this terrasse fresh and lively again, it seemed a bit abandonned since my last visit there.

The staff were lovely and the hostel organised a lot of activities for the guests to get to know each other. The location is really nice and you don't have to walk far to enjoy some good views or head into the city itself. The rooms are comfortable and despite the odd noisy night I didn't find myself having any troubles. Everyone I met was kind and the place was clean. The kitchen was a nice touch, it's always nice being able to cook while you're at a hostel. Also provides other services such as washing for €9. Plenty of opportunities to meet your fellow travellers or just kick back and get some rest when necessary.

Restrooms could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Rooms are small, not a huge issue.

It is a simple and fine hostel, especially suitable for students and young people who comes to Barcelona for a short stay vacation. The beds where comfy and large enough. Hotel has a nice terrace, it is located in very good area, close to metro station. Staff was really nice. After 10pm it was quiet, what I really appreciate. I felt safe there. For a short stay, I would not have a problem to come back :)

My bed sheets were quite old and with a few stains, the duvet was not very comfortable. There is basically no space in the room except for your bed, so it may not be best for longer stays.

-The social aspect: there is free dinner provided by the hostel every night, which gives you a chance to meet other people. Then, there is the bar/club night that starts at the chill room that's equipped with a beer pong table and comfortable, cushiony chairs. I joined the bar excursion where we were met with even more people from the hostel's partner hostels, so overall it was super easy to meet new people. -Free cookies, tea, and coffee! -I liked that the bed had a curtain for privacy, and there was also an outlet and a lamp inside the cub. -There were 2 bathrooms on each floor and they were private, which made it easy for me to bring all my things and take a shower. Hot water worked well. -Location: the hostel was a quick 3-5 minute walk away from a subway stop. It is also very close to the main train station of Barcelona. -There is an elevator in the facility which meant that carrying the suitcase up and down the floors was extremely easy.

Overall, I really liked my stay, but if I had to mention some things: -Unfortunately, towels don't come for free - you will have to pay 2 EUR but it is just a one-time fee, no refund or deposit. -The bathroom wasn't very clean at the time I used it, but it wasn't dirty either.
