Stunning artwork everywhere, beautiful bed linen, great facilities, lovely rooftop pool and terrace

Everything was great. Only comment is limited seating by the pool and there should be a limit to leaving towels and not using loungers. When I was there every lounger was ‘used’ but empty while people went for lunch. Not fair when there is very limited space. Use it or lose it!

Beautiful hotel and rooms, great service and very well located. We are very happy with our stay and recommend for anyone looking for a 5 star hotel. The rooms are lovely, well decorated and they give attention to the details, and this makes a special difference. Beautiful rooftop, spa and breakfast.

This hotel surprised me the most on our euro trip this year, there staff are world class. I can't praise them enough, the rooms are beautiful and very clean, with probably the most comfortable bed on our entire holiday we had. The breakfast and the rooftop pool are amazing and I really enjoyed my 7 days here..

Not enough day beds on the rooftop, some guests were a little inconsiderate with how they used them. (not used them) You need to get in early up there if you want to use them, extremely expensive breakfast and drinks unfortunately but that's Europe in general now.. Considering what great value the rooms were to stay in the drinks/breakfast was oddly expensive. The pillows were way to soft but that might just be my preference for firmer pillows.

The One Barcelona will be one of the best hotels that we have stayed in the last year or so. The hotel was par excellence. The location fantastic. Easy access to transportation, shopping, dining and important areas of Barcelona. The Staff was wonderful, well informed, always with suggestions, they felt like an extension of ourselves. They took care of things like how we would take care of stuffs. The room was well laid out. Plenty of Sunshine. The Mini Bar was free and we had endless supply of bottled water at all times. You could expect one of their room service team to ring the bell anytime and ask you if the Mini Bar and water needs to be topped up. The lighting was warm and well distributed. The restaurants in the hotel were well rounded with a good mix of dishes and cuisines. We did not feel like leaving the hotel. Our stay was excellent.

Nothing is perfect, so we need to highlight the variety of breakfast. Staying for five days, the breakfast got bit mundane as the menu kept repeating itself. Sad did not have time to check out the SPA. Cannot blame the hotel for that, I guess.

Everything. This is an exceptional hotel. We stayed in a junior suite and enjoyed the extra room and the sunny outlook with floor to ceiling windows onto the street. The room was quiet and wonderfully comfortable but what made our stay so special was the staff. Every person we encountered throughout our long stay was friendly, charming and bilingual. There was nothing asked that was too much trouble and we felt remarkably at home and welcomed. Our breakfast was included and we enjoyed the variety and excellent quality of the food. We ate dinner in the very pretty restaurant once and found the Burrata salad to be the absolute star of the menu. Delicious! There is a bar/restaurant and pool on the top floor which has a very good view of the city, including the Sagrada Familia. The bar food is similar to that of the restaurant on the ground floor. They also serve churros and hot chocolate that are excellent. The hotel is only a block from La Pedrera and the designer shopping district but also walkable to the Mediterranean, the Gothic quarter and many wonderful cafes, most particularly “Dora”, just across the street. We will definitely stay at The One again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The rooms were stylishly decorated with modern furniture, bathroom and closet design. The hotel is perfectly located close to the main shopping street and many famous landmarks. The rooftop pool area is clean and looks nice for pictures of surrounding Barcelona. The staff were friendly and greeted you every time you entered or left the hotel.

The rooftop pool opens at 11:00 am which makes absolutely zero sense to me and closes at 7:00pm before the sun even goes down. The pool side staff are very few and the service was very hit and miss some days. The only complaint in the room was the headboard of the bed makes a terribly loud creaking noise when the AC is turned on. The breakfast was not worth the money if you don’t have it included in the room rate. Very expensive for very little.

The rooms looked great. The view of the Sagrada Familia from the terrace is quite spectacular, and the fruit plate they put in my room to start out with was even more impressive. The jacuzzi on the terrace is a nice idea, and more hotels should do it. The staff were unfailingly nice. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely. I liked the Bluetooth. I like the privacy on the terrace, and the ability to pull up a cover so people on the roof can’t see.

It was too hard to turn off all the lights to go dark. There should just be one switch, by the bed. The jets on the jacuzzi are too short, they should be higher (and in general, I’d prefer an actual hot tub to the fill-it-yourself situation). So just a few upgrades to the suite would make it a 10.

The location is absolutely incredible, walking distance to all major attractions (and you want to walk in Barcelona- it’s such a beautiful city), plus amazing selection of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were absolutely phenomenal, gave my husband a surprise delivery for his birthday so I’m really grateful for that. Special shout out to David who was full of helpful tips to navigate the city. The rooftop bar was stunning, the views and the drinks were nothing short of luxurious. Be sure to book a table for your stay at Mood rooftop bar. Thanks to Denis for finding us a bar to watch the boxing match in. We will definitely be back here, without a doubt. Looking at flights as we speak. Don’t stay anywhere else in Barcelona, choose The One- you won’t be sorry.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The room was well laid out. Truly a stunning hotel.

This hotel is amazing. The location is great, as walking distance to both Sagrada Familia and La Rambla/gothic quarter (approx 20 min each), but in a quiet location. Also around the corner from La Perdera and close to Casa Batlo. Most importantly, the staff at the hotel are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We loved the roof top bar/restaurant. There is a pool there, which looked nice but we did not use due to weather only (in December) but would be great in the summer. The room was spacious, extremely clean and the bed comfortable. We were celebrating an anniversary and found a bottle of cava and chocolates in our room which was such a lovely touch. The spa area is gorgeous and really relaxing and included in the booking (Finnish sauna and large plunge pool with jets). Breakfast choices were great and really flexible and our waitress Marcella amazing. Concierge also really helpful getting tickets. We had a fantastic 3 night stay and would definitely be back.

Nothing really - we had a slight issue with the air con in our room but the hotel did all they could to resolve this and even offered us another room. We had a quiet room away from lift but would ask for one higher up next time as there was a bit of noise from the traffic at times.

It's my second visit to this hotel. Staff at the reception are always willing to help and well informed. Even though the hotel was fully booked they did their best to accommodate our needs. Always a pleasure

Nothing I did not like honestly, however It would be awesome if all the rooms in the hotel would have water for the toilet (water hose, shattaf, etc). Currently it's only on the 5th floor upwards. It would be a great addition if they manage to do that especially considering that this is important for visitors coming from the Middle East. Just a recommendation =)
