From the moment we arrived at the Monument Hotel until we checked out, the service was exceptional. The staff was warm, welcoming and they could not do enough for us. They helped with lost luggage, dinner reservations, and local recommendations. Our party of 5 loved our double suite, especially the extra bathrooms. The hotel is elegant and smells delicious all the time! Breakfast in the morning was also fresh, delicious and excellent, with plenty of gluten free options. The location was perfect, in the middle of everything which made it easily walkable. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful and a great place for an afternoon drink. We loved everything about this hotel. A special thank you to Xavi, Marta and Carlos for making our stay so easy and memorable.

Convenient location and close to all of the attractions.

Rooms were very dark- Hassle getting the room- Did not put us in the type of room we paid for. They told us there was no availability for the upgraded room. Had to download the the original documents to get the correct room because the app was not clear but the downloaded documents were. (Kind of a bait and switch if you don't have the original documents when you booked your room) Spent one night in wrong room and they gave a 10 percent discount on the room however, the discount was on the room rate for the upgraded room we paid for not the lower category room plus 10%. Could not settle in when we got there because we had to move rooms the next day.

The location of this hotel is fabulous. But also, it is a perfect, luxury boutique hotel. Our only disappointment was that we had hoped to extend our stay by two nights only to find out that the hotel was fully booked for Friday and Saturday nights because the hotel had booked a tour group of over 80 people. We specifically avoid hotels that booked large tour groups. It robs a boutique hotel of its ambiance. This disappointed us greatly. However, we would choose to stay at this hotel again. We were able to tell that the staff of the hotel were very stressed and uncomfortable attempting to accommodate a tour group of more than 80 people

The fitness room was abit small and lacked the presence of at least a universal weight machine

The pool area is not so big and it happened to us twice out of three times meeting a "chatter box" person next to us. In order to enjoy relaxing atmosphere and chill-out music at the pool we recommend to restrict using mobile phones in pool area completely. Unfortunately our room wasn't properly clean. After mentioning our issue at the reception. The hotel stuff apologized and fixed the problem immediately. We considered it as a rare problem of single person. Since that time, everything was cleaned properly.

This is my second time I chose The Monument hotel. I really like the location. The staffs were amazing the room and the bathroom look nice and neat.

1- Very small wardrobe: Specially when you two persons staying in the room. Even to enough for one person to hand his shirts. the iron board was in a wrong place to be ( not comfortable when you iron). 2- TV selections: * Most tv channels to worth to watching. * Channels for sex and pornographic channels( I thought this kind of movies for cheap hotel). 3- unComfortable bed.

Everything was tastefully designed and clean. The hotel room was very neat and clean. Rooms were well prepared prior to arrival, and since we had three people they prepared three sets of all items. There are very nice luxury dining options within the hotel as well. Beautiful rooftop breakfast room with pretty views and sunshine. The service is what sets this hotel apart from all others for me. Every staff member was incredibly welcoming and helpful at any moment. From opening doors, delivering complimentary water and snacks to the room, and helping with any issues, the service was always above and beyond. We were greeted at the door upon arrival and taken on a personal tour of our prepared rooms and introduced to the amenities included with the stay. For checkout, they helped me store luggage for a couple of hours and also then helped me call and load the taxi, communicating with the driver on my behalf in Spanish. From beginning to end, the service was impeccable and really made me feel welcome.

The Best you can get in town, all stuff are friendly and trying their best to facilitate your stay The Mattress & pillow are very comfortable especially for people who suffer with Lower back pain The roof top is fabulous and the food is extremely great, and you should try the famous stake sandwich from the Master chief Martin

Stayed in 2019 and loved the location, the service and the building. Returned in June 2022 with my daughter and her fiancé and we stayed for seven nights. Firstly the staff are professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are contemporary with space , good space in bathroom and excellent showers. We had inner courtyard facing rooms so there was no traffic noise. The roof top is excellent, breakfast was amazing, fresh and love that the hot food is cooked to order. The restaurant staff give top service. The roof top is a good place to be in the evening for a cool breeze in the hot summer. The location is perfect, we walked to everyone of Gaudi attractions, to the waterfront, to the shopping location and all the parks. We found some amazing local areas within 30 minute walk for yummy tapas

Pool beds were busy at times but we worked around it and managed some pool time Drinks at the bar are very expensive

Absolutely the best service I have received at a hotel in my lifetime as a business and leisure world traveler. I’ve stayed in the so-called top hotels (5+ star) but they always drop the ball somewhere in terms of service. It’s amazing this little gem of a boutique hotel can outdo the best of the best. Simply fantastic. Not saying this lightly. I was super impressed with our stay and the mini-suite we stayed in.

as usually amazing clean , quite stylish rooms . finally separate shower room. very helpful staff , especially concierge service ( fulfil all of my requirements) great location

I think it can be improved a possibility of having dinner in the hotel if you are a guest. hotel has 2 Michelin stars restaurant, but you can’t get in unless you have a reservation. otherwise only room service that it’s kinda hard to reach . so you might stay hungry if you don’t think in advance about reservation
