The room was very stylish and big. Amazing window view. Clean, tranquil and quiet environment! Exactly what we needed!The staff welcomed us champagne and were super friendly. Breakfast was good and cheap but not with too many options but we did not really mind. Good location of you want to see a different part of the city and visit Guell Park.

The hotel was a bit far from the city centre but we did not mind as it was the end of our trip. There are good local transport networks though.

The staff were efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. I liked the decor of the room and that it was comfortable for my stay: there was room to work as well as to sit, without feeling cramped. The bed was well turned out, a good size, comfortable, and I slept well. The shower was good. Location for me, was excellent: well situated for my work and a pleasant, calm neighbourhood.

I felt there could have been more available at breakfast, or clearer signage for what could be asked for - I was unsure about coffee options and whether freshly cooked eggs were available.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The garage is big and comfortable enough, although the gate and elevator were not working. But compared to other car parks in Barcelona this one was great. Nice restaurant. Great position, at least by my point of view, close to the hills of Collserola park.

I like instant coffee and tea, which is why I was very happy to find it in the room. But apparently you can enjoy this service only the first day, because after I used the coffee and tea bags they were not replaced. No big problem, but it would be nice to have the same service for the whole stay.

The actual hotel rooms themselves were absolutely amazing, so perfect especially if you’re in a couple. I’ll definitely come back with my partner! I highly recommend the hotel for this reason. It was incredibly cheap, what I paid for was the equivalent to what you’d pay in a shared accommodation, but no it was an extremely pleasant hotel!

The language barrier made the stay quite difficult. I also feel the staff were not so helpful from my entire stay. For example, I was given someone else’s hotel room, the ac was broke and no one ever fixed it when I reported it, I lost my chanel sunglasses in a taxi and asked the staff for some support especially with the language barrier. They were not helpful And i lost my sunglasses:(

The reception desk was really nice and lovely when we first arrived. I added a note that we were here for our honeymoon, and when we arrived at the reception desk, he provided us with two glasses of wine to celebrate our honeymoon, which is beyond our expectation, and really surprised us. What’s even more surprising is the room decoration. There is a heart shaped decoration on our bed and a bottle of wine. There is a spacious balcony as well which we can just lie down there and look at the sky, which is really relaxing. Overall, our experience is very positive we wish we can stay there longer. The hotel is located in a very residential area which we are surrounded by very well designed and expensive apartments. I guess it’s the area where most rich people live in. you can also find good restaurants nearby which have high rates. I love it!!!

Appreciated the large (extra large double) bed that fit my NFL size husband. The high end finishes and quality of the room and property were lovely. The room darkened well accommodate and adapt to the time difference. It was located in a nice community with nice street cafes, shops and small markets close by.

Communication was challenging. There was no hot tub on the premises as stated in booking.com. It was a long drive from the city center and other attractions.

The room was spacious and comfortable, decorated in a tasteful modern design in white, the shower is pampering with a strong and good flow of water, the bathrooms are pampering to a high standard and include a separate bidet, the level of cleanliness is impeccable The service at the reception and in general was excellent!! Everything we asked about places we wanted to go, we received an explanation and help at a professional level. Even at a late hour when we wanted to order a pizza in the middle of the night and we couldn't get along with the Spanish they helped us, great service. We only had breakfast, the food was buffet style, European style, it was delicious and there was always something to eat. Thanks for hosting it was really fun

The Hotel was nice, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Hotel and room were clean, and the overall appearance was good. My bed was comfortable. The Breakfast was okay. The Hotel is located in the upper West of the city, towards Tibidabo, and it is a bit further away from the heart of Barcelona, so make sure to research how you will get around the city.

The neighbourhood around the hotel is very nice. Several shops and restaurants available and public transport nearby to reach any destination in city, even though it`s about 30 min ride. WiFi was surprisingly fast comparing to typical hotel speeds. Hotel itself looked good, staff was friendly and lounge area was relaxing. AC in room had the possibility to adjust temperature and blowing speed.

Room itself seemed a little bit smaller than expected and did seem to require a little renovation (some marks on walls from moving furniture, outdated electronics). Gym equipment was half broken/half missing

it is in a quiet part of town in the “barrio alta” which is an area of Barcelona with many upscale residences, private schools and hospitals. We were within walking distance of many bars and restaurants or a quick taxi ride to other lively areas. Having stayed on the Raval for a few days before coming to the Vilana this place was a comparative oasis of peace and tranquility. Great to be able to open a window and let a little fresh air in too without a lot of noise.

Although the photos don’t show it the hotel is a little “tired” and in need of upgrading and modernization but otherwise perfectly serviceable. Our bathroom had been updated recently but the rest of the room including electrical system seemed to be from the 70s. Flicking on a light would actually cause an audible noise from the breaker box in the closet. The beds were small and on the light side and the pillows didn’t match the 4 star rating we expected. The safe was not fixed to the wall so I don’t know how safe it really was…
