good clean room overlooking pool .maids in every day,free pool towels,aircon in room , quiet location but only 2 minute walk to beach and main street with restaurants. Beach at castelldefels is amazing with plenty room for all as well as lifeguards and showers and clean toilet facilities. Ton Ribu beach bar lovely to chill with drink and we went to takua bar on main road every day for breakfast and some nights for a cocktail. Lots of restaurants in town and whilst the beach is extremely busy it is so big that in the town there was always plenty room. We only saw a couple of british people the whole 8 days and you will need to attempt spanish here but it was what we expected and we had a great time so if your looking for a benidorm type resort do not go here. When the St Joan festival was on it was amazing with I swear nearly everyone (thousands) letting off fireworks all night. Main train station is 2k away and the one on the beach is 1 k away from hotel and if you dont want to walk a 10 ticket pass for 11 euros meaning a euro a journey will take you there on the bus (number 94/96/96 as well as on to other destinations via train like barcelona city. Taxi from/to airport was 35 euros coming in and 28 euros going back but public transport enables it with said ticket but as we arrived at 11pm and were going back at 9am i wanted an easy process . Biggest thing here is the heat and if you go to beach you will neeed an umbrella as it is impossible to sit all day without one, my advice would be go at 5 pm when cooler and swim in the sea and people watch when it is still really busy.

sun beds are not most comfortable and price of drinks at pool bar is ridiculous but you can bring in your own drinks if you wish with no hassle.

The location is rather good only if you want to be close to the sea/beach and to a very good restaurant by the beach (Polito). We booked this hotel strictly to spend the last couple of days close to the sea, not too far from the airport. I wouldn't recommend it for a normal longer holiday as there isn t much to do in the village and any shop is rather far away to walk in the summer heat.

There were ants in the bathroom. The pool terasse was also kind of neglected. The other guests were noisy and annoying even around the pool. The staff could intervene more...The hotel is rather old. But again, it was fit for our purpose. The staff at the reception was very helpful, the breakfast was okay, considering it was the only place to have breakfast in the morning. Not much to see or do in Castelldefels otherwise. The sea in that reagion had jelly fish, the restaurants on that beach are very dirty and nowhere to wash your hands or feet. But nothing to do with the hotel, rather with a general state in Spain lately...getting worse every year.

The location of this hotel is perfect, a short drive off the motorway and a short walk to the beach and the main road with all the bars & restaurants. The breakfast was delicious, there was a good selection, the fresh orange was lovely as was the chopped fresh fruit. The ladies on reception were pleasant & friendly. Room 127 had a massive terrace, perfect for a family with small children or a dog.

The bidet needs ditching in the bathroom, and the toilet needs moving to a more comfortable position. Room 127. I couldn't plug my hair straighteners into the plug socket in the bathroom, and there was no other plug socket near a mirror. The car park was very secure, but 12€ per night is a little expensive, when there's no overheads as such. No wonder it was almost empty. Maybe more people would use it if you reduced it to 6€ per night. The bacon at breakfast was hard & cold. 15€ for the dog per night, especially when he hasn't used any of the hotel facilities, he doesn't even shed hair!

The location of the hotel was perfect ~ 5 min walk to beach, the beach was excellent with lots of caffees, free public toilets, showers. You can spend time walking along 5km+ long shore line by sand of by dedicated sidewalk. There is a railway station in 12 min walk, where you can get to Barcelona in 20 min by train. Castelldefels is included in Barcelona inner public transport zone, so you can use relatively cheap T-10 tickets for commute. The only downside is that there is a public road with traffic and a railway line just near the hotel. There is a big supermarket in 7 min walk from the hotel. The hotel was quite good, the staff was friendly, free towel are provided for the pool. Room was clean and cozy.

Some rooms need cosmetic renovation, although everything worked. The soundproofing could be better. Once our neighbors were watching TV and loudly speaking till 2am, and it was hard to fall asleep. The breakfast food variation is quite limited.

Hotel Ciudad de Castelldefels was only 10 minutes walk from the long, white sand, unspoiled Castelldefels Beach. We also loved that it was only 1km from the train station running into Barcelona Centre. This provides lots of opportunity to visit Barcelona & also other towns in the area. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with lots of choice. Our room was in good condition with excellent air conditioning- necessary as the weather was very warm. We had lunch several days and this also was excellent. Staff here are extremely friendly and good humoured. We look forward to a return trip.

I really liked the location of the hotel, nice town, nice beach and not far from things to do, as well as not that far from Barcelona itself. Nice hotel, I loved the pool, the staff was very friendly and the cocktails were great! The breakfast was also really nice! I also really liked the fact that there is always someone at the desk, always at your service.

tip for the hotel: paint your building from the pool side: looks kind of bad, whilst the area is so nice! If you would paint those walls a fun color: 10000x better!! I recommend a baby pink, baby blue, baby yellow or a baby orange!! You'll thank me later :))

I have stayed at this hotel many times, both in summer and winter months. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach and local shops/bars/restaurants, a 10 minute walk to the local station which has direct links into Barcelona city centre. The rooms are huge and spotless with a couple of bottles of free water in the fridge, house keeping is every day unless you decline it. Most rooms have balconies and there is an outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast is great, both hot and cold food available which is replenished often. All the staff are approachable and friendly, l gave even had a laugh and joke with them as they speak perfect English. You will not be disappointed if you book this hotel 😉😉

Nothing, everything is exceptional.

I loved how safe we all felt at this hotel the staff were amazing aswell nothing was to much trouble the hotel pool was lovely I don't normally go in a pool as its always too cold this was lovely and refreshing was in it every day and looked forward to it. The rooms were big enough aswell we had 4 to a room aswell didn't feel like we were on top of each other either 😄 the location was fab! Plenty of bars and restaurants near by only a 5 mins walk and the beach is lovely too, overall a brilliant weekend had by all ladies one to remember for sure so thank you to everyone at the hotel for making it a lovely experience nothing was to much trouble 😀

The only thing I would say is that I wasn't too keen on was the breakfast but that is personal opinion but others had it everyday I also went down late so probably better if you were to attend earlier but this would not change my stay the coffee is awesome 😍

Great location for a good value if you want to visit Barcelona -there is a train line nearby and other options to go to the city. The city itself (Castelldefels) is super alive, there are several options for restaurants and bars, and the beach rocks. The hotel itself is super cool, the staff is good, the room we stayed was very well planned and divided for having privacy for 4 people. AC was super good. Super clean inside, but they could also clean the balcony so it would be more welcoming for staying out during the night for a drink or two :)

They could clean the balcony, the wi-fi is poor and barely works and the pillows aren't very comfy. Not a big deal though!

Excellent service with very kind staff, phenomenal breakfast, very helpful staff (they helped us find our way to Montserrat), relatively easy to find free parking in the streets around the neighborhood (not busy/in October it was free). We had to leave to the airport before breakfast opened so the staff were super thoughtful and packed us delicious to-go breakfasts with a coffee - thank you! I would 110% recommend staying here as long as the wifi works in the room you're staying in!

The first two nights we stayed there everything was excellent and wifi was great we stayed on an upper level floor, but on our third day (different room main floor #035) the Wifi was so poor our phones would not load any pages at all.
