We loved our stay at La Casona de Pio! It was so adorable and exactly what we were looking for for our stay in Cudillero. The hotel is fairly small and very well kept with friendly staff. Our room was sizeable with both a balcony on the front of the building and a private patio to the side. The shower worked well and the bathroom seemed like it had been recently renovated. The location is close to the center of town but very quiet. The whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. The town doesn't really have cars, so we parked at the large free parking lot by the port, which has about 6 charge points for EVs. Then we walked no more than 10 minutes to get into town. Be aware that the hotel's location is not exactly where Google Maps shows it. It is right next to Casa Mari Sidreria. Walk all the way towards the back of the town, then next to the Heladeria there is a sign pointing you to the hotel.  We loved this hotel and heartily recommend it. I was sad to stay only one night!

Location was exceptional, walking distance to all the local restaurants, the harbor, the fish market, etc. right down the stairs from the check in parlor are restaurants. Of course, the seafood was exceptional so if you are looking for meat entrees on the menu, there are plenty but Cudillero is known for seafood. Friendly people everywhere. make the effort to climb along the cliffs overlooking the harbor. The reward is priceless. Take your time, rest every 20 stair steps. just exceptionally stunning.

parking spaces are far from the hotel but that is OK. The walk from where you park to the hotel is along the water with exceptional views of the harbor.

A small family owned hotel in a picturesque historical stone house in the heart of Cudillero, a few stairs up from plaza Marina. Very warm and welcoming host and staff, very comfortable, cozy and pretty rooms, they also offer a generous breakfast in a beautiful dining room

Parking is sort of difficult, we stopped to unload the luggage in plaza Marina, then found parking in the port, there are some stairs to go up to the hotel

We were very pleased with our short stay at La Casona de Pío. It's a friendly, well-run small hotel. Although it is in the heart of Cudillero, it is situated in a peaceful spot, and it is very quiet at night. Our room was comfortable and complete with an excellent shower, effective wooden shutters and a substantial closet as well as a chest of drawers and bed tables. Also to be noted is that the maps and sightseeing tips provided by the hotel were extremely helpful. The full breakfast was prepared to order and was served cheerfully and efficiently. Moreover, it was a very good value.

First-time visitors to Cudillero should have in mind that the town is built on the side of a steep hill. There are steps to reach La Casona de Pío and there are steps within the hotel.

We’ll take this hotel & town over Disneyland any day!! Beautifully kept old-school hotel tended by caring, helpful staff. Staunch stone building, with quiet and airy verandas In the heart of a captivating hillside fishing village. We walked to the top of the village and we’re amazed at how much labour & care had been put into building the town & paths … a dramatic lesson in respect for your place. The staff were wonderful. Augustine recommended the restaurant Faro beside the hotel and we were not disappointed. Paula advised us on local places along the coast to visit- she is so passionate about her region and that visitors will enjoy it. Highly recommend the breakfast.

There wasn't much not to like. If you are driving be aware you cannot park your car in centre. Drive in and if a couple ,one take luggage and wait while other parks car( free) a short dstance away. Hotel is located 2 mins walk from main square

The quaint, typical decor of the property and the room which was comfortable. Also the location. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately due to it being surrounded by stone walls the wifi is almost non-existent, which for anyone needing to be online can be frustrating. But mobile data works..

What a wonderful stay! I felt like it was in someone’s very well cared for home. The staff was amazing! They were so warm and friendly. They helped me with everything I needed. The breakfast was also so good, including homemade fresh yogurt and marmalade, along with an assortment of just about anything you could imagine. I highly recommend this hotel. One of the best I’ve experienced in my visit to over 20 countries!

Our room was great, plenty of storage and space to relax with both a balcony and terrace. The location is ideal as the hotel is just off the main square, so you are in the middle of things but it’s a little quieter. There are two breakfast options, we paid for the larger option and it was excellent - basically whatever you would like as far as I could tell. The owner was making sure we didn’t need lunch I reckon! And the owner and staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

As it’s an old building there was a bit of internal noise from the room above, nothing major, just a few creaky floorboards.

Excelente ubicación para visitar Asturias. Personal muy atento y amable. En especial, Cristina, recepcionista ,que nos hizo recomendaciones excelentes tanto de lugares para visitar ,como para disfrutar de la gastronomia Asturiana.
