This is a fantastic historical hotel, fabulous high look-out location for great views on the surrounding scenery. We changed rooms (made a mistake booking 1 bed for 2 people) and were helped perfectly by the very kind Christina Garcia. Big thumbs up to her and the service she gave us! Highly recommend a stay here (and it's only a 7 minute drive from the airport, yet not airplane noise!)

We take out breakfast at the nearby cafetaria...we like hanging out with the locals and it's very good!

Lovely room (superior double), quiet location with nice garden. Attractive decor. Friendly and helpful service. Good, reasonably priced, massage service. Good spread for breakfast, which was included in our price. In all, good value for money.

Jacuzzi bath did not lend itself to showering (no splash screen, curtain or shower bracket) and slow to fill. We would have preferred a shower unit or a normal bath with shower screen.

Impressive building, extremely helpful staff, very good restaurant. Beautiful park and views, and very nicely located near the airport and the main roads, not far from Gijon.

Noise isolation of the room door is very bad (big space below, no sealing gasket)... waking up with noise of the cleaning staff in the corridor. Bathtub and WC had some "repairs" with white tape long ago...

Unique property. Lots of space to sit inside. Room was a suite of rooms. Great air conditioning and views. Dinner was E25 each and included a drink. Good choice. Staff efficient and friendly. Local coffee shop for breakfast. Lots of parking.

The hotel had really great views so it was a shame there was no patio to sit on and relax. Would definitely stay again.

lovely location on top of hill looking out over the isthmus. Good size room with views and comfy beds. Aircon not working in first room and was quickly changed to new room. A service man came immediately to fix the aircon in the first room. So all taken care of quickly.

Hotel's restaurant next door was large, set up for big weddings. Food was not to be recommended. They incinerated my scallops and the salpicon was swamped in vinegar/sugar sauce. I guess best to skip the hotel's restaurant and go somewhere else.

A semi neoclassical building with touches of local architecture. Ample room, comfortable, with two armchairs and a little table apart from the main one. Large bathroom with generous tub. Totally clean.

The dining room is a tiny bit small. But comfortable for the number of seats (only it has just so many of them).

This hotel is a great find in this area. We were just spending one night after arriving from a long set of flights. This hotel exceeded our expectations and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious, the bed more comfortable than most hotels, and the staff and service went out of their way to ensure we were well cared for. We will definitely stay here again when in this area and recommend it highly.

We waited quite a while to get our bill after a great lunch.

Excellent hotel, great evening meal with a brilliant hostess who went out of her way to accommodate our preferences and also provided us with a specially prepared English menu.

Slightly grumpy maintainence man who had to sort out a faulty wardrobe door.

we only stayed the night / didn't use the spa but it looked amazing. Staff all nice / didn't have an evening meal as we had eaten before arriving but had some drinks in the bar and were given complimentary tapas!

The bed was huge but so hard- we love a firm mattress, but this was extreme.

the location was amazing. After 52 days on the Camino the hotel was a luxurious treat.

We paid a lot of money for this room and the actual room was pretty basic. the bathroom was beautiful, a great claw foot tub. There was a mini bar with no pricing so we thought it must be gratis, wrong, we were charged for nuts and chocolate as well as water. Seriously after spending 280euros we’re getting charged for nuts and chocolate? Put a price list in the room so people know they are being charged
