Hotel Marqués, Blue Hoteles

The location is right next to the city centre and port. It is also ten minutes' walk to the bus station. Th street where the hotel is located has some interesting bars and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was a good size and contemporary in style and comfort.

The reception area and lift did not look as polished as the room so the first impression was not promising. An upgrade here would help. The restaurant / bar was closed when I checked in at 6.30 pm. As there is no lounge area, there isn't any other place to be other than in your room if you want to spend some time in the hotel itself.

The best quality of this Hotel is definitely the location, as tourist we could go to the beach, bars, restaurants, stores, everything just by walking.

To be fair, we did not find something that we did not like that much to make a comment, so everything was good and even above of our expectations.

Location is great and rooms although small are well equipped. Staff is very friendly.

The rooms looking to the back of the building are awful. They are dark and have a terrible smell of humidity and garbage. We were lucky there were rooms available facing the street and we were moved without problem, but take that into consideration!

Everyone was so nice! The room was spotlessly clean, all the plumbing and electrical worked great, good hot shower, comfortable beds, the breakfast that came with it was quite ample, and the location was fabulous. We would stay there again.

The hotel has an excellent location and has very helpful and cheerful staff. Even though the breakfast was a takeaway (because of Covid 19) it was delicious and comprehensive. After problems with the aircon in our original room, we were moved to a larger room in 5th floor, which was really stylish and bright. Large public underground parking was just 50m away and was discounted by the hotel.

The standard room is pretty small. However, it is stylish and practical and has a french balcony. The beds were too hard to sleep well.

Really comfortable, very clean, breakfast was good lovely staff and perfect location.

Be nice to have a shelf and an magnifying mirror in bathroom.

This was our first trip away since the COVID pandemic started and this was a surprise for my partner for his 40th birthday. The hotel was clean and well laid out and it was in a great location in Gijon. There are many restaurants and attractions close by. I do recommend however that the aquarium bioparc is excellent as well. Overall the stay was comfortable and unique and definitely will be returning in the foreseeable future.

I think tea making facilities would be useful for the room but other than that....no problems at all.

Lovely little breakfast included. Great location to explore Gijon. Modern bathroom and kind staff.

Our room was noisy on Thursday, Fri, Sat nights with party goers outside and heavy bass music which made it difficult to get to sleep.

Front staff can speak English. Clean room, quite new furniture. Very good location close to city center and seaside.

Breakfast didn't had many selection. Wall were bit thin that someone talking at another room.

Stayed here while walking the Camino Del Norte. Nice comfortable room with good WiFi and television with Netflix, Youtube, and regular channels. Breakfast is very good. Highly recommend.
