B&B Hotel Madrid Centro Puerta del Sol

Great location! Literally at just a few meters (yards) from Puerta del Sol. The rooftop bar is great! Loved the little treats bag at our door every morning. Staff was great everytime and helpful. It was clean and the room was serviced every day of our stay. In general great for couples.

The rooms are nice but the layout is not confortable, specially when you have a kid with you. Having a way to lock your toilet door is important when you have a toddler! The hotel is hard to find, you have to go thru a hall and there're no clear indication that you need to ring the doorbell at the end in irder to enter the hotel, you really need more signs and better indications.

B&B Hotel Madrid Centro Puerta del Sol is on excellent location, right in the heart of Madrid. Puerta del Sol is just a 1-minute walk away, and Gran Via is about 2-3 minutes away. The proximity to metro and bus stations makes it convenient for various destinations. Numerous shops, bars, and restaurants surround the hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and our room was verry clean with a comfortable bed. Each morning, we were pleasantly surprised with two small bottles of water and pastries placed outside our door. The hotel also offers a small shared kitchen with complimentary access to a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and juices 24/7.

Hotel has an amazing location, 300m away from Gran Via and it's metro station and 200m to Puerta del Sol and it's metro station. And thats the center, hearth of Madrid - nice gesture every morning with becoming sweets & water on your door handle :) - "cantine room" where you can eat your meal, drink coffee / tea / juice for free (vending machines), also microwave available - good, big and comfortable bed - good shower drenage, good shower preassure ! - enough space to store some clothes and rest of your things - friendly staff - noise isolation is good, you can easily sleep at nights - very clean - good & fast working WiFi !

Things that I didnt like: - entry into the bathroom area of the room has doors, but they can't be closed (design) ! Its not a big deal if you are travelling alone, but not really cool if you are with a partner / friend etc. - the combination of pillows was not the best one - cloth hangers with "steal-protection" (not by my personal liking), but was quite enough space for 5 items to be stored - for 2 persons, not enough cloth hangers, maybe 2-3 more would be ideal (not a big deal), but then there would be lack of space for them all ... - at some spots you could see some little signs of paint or scratches when they were "remaking the room" (not a big deal) - some rooms have separated sink from the bathroom area (not very practical for me)

The room is cleverly designed, and the bed is very comfortable. Spotless clean, soft towels, and a great wide shower with an excellent stream of water. The location of the hotel is superb! So close to the center main points of interest, restaurants and bars. 2 minutes walk from Sol metro station, 5 minutes to Gran via and Calleo. Staff was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable even with non common questions. 24-hour coffee and refreshments is a nice bonus, and having a Starbucks branch just next to the entrance, too. The little surprise bag in the mornings is another cool gesture.

Fantastic location, in busy Sol square, yet nice and quiet. Short walks to Gran Via, markets and Plazas. Huge king size beds, rooms well done each day, pack of water and pastries hung on the door handle every morning, plenty of fresh fruit available throughout tthe day, two machines churning out your choice of coffees, hot chocolate, cappuccinos and espressos. Always milk in the fridge, sugar, coffee sachets....all free. Great value for money. Friendly staff. Highly recommended

Entrance is difficult to find for anyone going there the first time, not even visible on Google Maps street view, but is not a big deal. There is a busy roof too Bar, so constant movement/dragging of furniture can be heard late at night if you are staying on the top floor.

Great location just off the Puerta del Sol. Close to the tourist sights and a wide array of excellent bars, restaurants and shops. My room overlooked the courtyard and was very quiet, despite the Dos de Mayo festivities going on during my stay. There was no coffee/tea facilities in the room but a breakfast of water and pastries was delivered to the door in a bag each morning. There is a lounge in the basement of the hotel with free coffee, juice, pasties and fruit, open 24hrs. Very helpful and pleasant staff at check-in.

Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a free cafe downstairs with coffee, juice and snacks. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy. Received a nice little gift bag each morning some water and donuts. Location is right in the middle of old town. But be mindful that cars are not allowed within a block or two of the property. But there are 2 different metro lines within a 50-100 meters of the entrance.

There was a Nescafe coffee maker in the room but we only received 4 pods for 2 people over 3 nights. But my main issue is that the you do not control the thermostat as they have control at the main desk. As I am a tempermental sleeper, it caused some comfort issues.

Great location, perfect to walk around the city and close to lots of places to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. No breakfast available but there is free coffee, juice, water, and fruits all day. They also left us pastries and water at the door for free each morning which was very nice.

Since it is so close to puerta del sol it can get really noisy in the room. Only times it was quiet was between 3-5am which made it difficult to get sleep. The bathroom is separated from the room by glass walls which doesn’t give much privacy so if you’re staying with someone you’re not completely comfortable with it can be a bit awkward.

Great location, just a footstep away from one of the main squares of Madrid (Sol), and within a short walking distance to most of the attractions. Also close to metro stations. Despite being near a busy street, it was super quiet too (at least in our room) because it was facing an internal yard and not the street. Staff was friendly, the bed was huge, and everything was super clean. While they don't have breakfast there is an area where you can grab some drinks and snacks. Internet was super fast (which I didn't care much about, but I wanted to point it out as it could be important for someone on a business trip).

Facing an internal yard meant silence, which was great, but it also meant less natural light in our room.

A very comfortable bed, a good sized room for a budget hotel and a very good sized bathroom. Very clean and modern. I absolutely loved it. Definitely will be staying here again. I loved the little breakfast bag every morning with a water and a pastry. A nice view. The street was very noisy but with the window closed I couldn’t hear a thing from the street, very good sound proofing.
