The room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking Gran Via - which was great! It was soundproofed very well so we weren't bothered by noise from other rooms or from outside. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed, and the fridge had a few drinks and snacks in minibar style. The beds, pillows, and the provided blanket were comfortable. The room was equipped with AC which was useful in the Madrid heat. The bathroom looked modern and clean. The breakfast was good and diverse. The hotel has 3 elevators from the reception up to the highest floor, and one elevator from the ground floor to the reception, which meant that we didn't have to wait at all to travel between our floor and the reception. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We missed one breakfast due to traveling to another city therefore the night before we asked the reception if we could get a small takeaway breakfast before we left and they were very helpful.

We paid for the included dinner. Sadly, on the first evening, our dinner consisted of what seemed to be warm microwaved food. We could see that there was no cook in the kitchen. We were one of the only people in the restaurant cafeteria and it was a Monday evening so I think that explains the food, but it was still quite disappointing. The next time we tried the hotel dinner, there was a cook in the hotel cafeteria so the food was slightly better - but for the rest of our stay we ended up eating in another (unrelated) restaurant.

Big comfortable room with nice bed, sofa and kitchenette. Electric kettle and iron provided immediately upon request. Bathroom with bidet. Good strong shower. Excellent location overlooking Gran Via. Close to many halal restaurants, supermarkets, small grocery stores and large department stores, bus, metro. 3 elevators to rooms (some city hotels have only 1).

3 unavoidable flights of stairs. First from street level main entrance to elevator. Second from elevator to restaurant level. Third from there to reception. Fortunately the elevators to rooms are right in front of reception. They are short flights, but with heavy luggage, are still a significant inconvenience. That's the only negative aspect though, stopping me from giving a 9. Hotel claims to accept Amex, but it failed for me and had to use a different card. I used my Amex successfully in many places throughout my stay in Madrid before and after the hotel payment, so I know it's not a problem with my card.

I liked the size of the room (very spacious), the kitchenette and small fridge, the in-room safe, the black-out curtains, the two sinks in the bathroom, the courteous and friendly staff, and the location.

I did not like all the stairs that we had to climb in between different elevator rides, not being able to open the bathroom door fully due to it banging into the bidet, and the fact that the shower came down on top of the bathtub drain, which resulted in us stepping on the plug many times blocking the drain. However, these are first world problems. All in all, it was a great stay.

the beds, including the sofa bed, is super comfortable. the location is supreme convenient to everywhere. room size is big enough for 3 to 4 persons. staff are nice. many restaurants and shopping nearby. good value for money. like this hotel very much.

there are a few steps before you reach the check-in counter. have to prepare your mind of climbing about 10 steps of stairs with your lauggages before u go. all other things are perfect. nothing to complain.

Very central location, near Metro and Plaza de Espana. Easy to reach all sights, including using the free bus 001. Friendly staff. 24hour reception. Microwave in mini-kitchen hidden away behind louvred doors useful for making hot drinks. Restaurant with very reasonably priced meals.

No blinds to keep out sun/light at night and curtains very thin. No apparent Covid precautions like handgel by the lift or in the restaurant.

Great location. All attractions are nearby. Very spacious and comfortable room. Having a small kitchen. Crockery, kettle, refrigerator, sink, etc. Quiet, although the window overlooks the Gran Via. Good breakfasts. Normal bed. Friendly staff.

Not very convenient entrance to the hotel. You need to overcome steps and two elevators. Cannot recommend for people with limited mobility.

The staff were all excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good and the location is incredible. The rooms and facilities are clean, modern, and comfortable. The bathrooms are very well appointed. The beds are a little thin, but not bad.

Just the mattress of the bed is a little thin. Otherwise, I was completely satisfied with all other aspects of my room, my stay, and the hotel.

Perfectly located at the very heart of Madrid yet the room was very quiet. The bathroom was spacious, the kitchen - well equipped, furniture in the living room was comfortable. The air condition was working very well and so did the WiFi. The lift is a bit narrow but the hotel is being refurbished, so I guess it's about a few more months to reach perfection.

All good.

Location Central Madrid around 30 minutes walk from airport bus stop at cibeles. Plenty of eating places round about thee hotel. Decent wee outside ber nearby.

Hotel is a bit dated need to be careful with bed legs protruding and could be a sore one on the toe. Also tile fell off the bathroom sink just missing said toe! Breakfast additional to the 150 euro room
