I had a fantastic week-long stay at this hostel in Madrid. One of the standout features was the spot-on location, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. What truly enhanced my experience was the hostel's dedication to providing recommendations to help us make the most of our time in Madrid. The staff went above and beyond to offer insider tips, ensuring we had an authentic and enjoyable visit. Additionally, the daily room cleaning service was a blessing. It added an extra layer of comfort to our stay, allowing us to return to a fresh and tidy room after a day of exploring the city. Overall, this hostel exceeded my expectations, thanks to its prime location, valuable recommendations, and the daily room cleaning service. If you're planning a trip to Madrid, I highly recommend staying here for a memorable and hassle-free experience.

My room had a window facing a courtyard where the cleaning team hung towels every day. This limited my ability to open the curtains for natural light and privacy reasons. Moreover, I was concerned about security since opening the window could potentially allow easy access for someone to enter the room unnoticed. Addressing these privacy and security concerns by implementing better window coverings or exploring alternative solutions would greatly enhance the guest experience. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hostel's excellent location and helpful recommendations made it a memorable stay in Madrid.

Great central location. All the cafes, bars, shops you might desire are within an easy walk. Had a small refrigerator in the room.

There was a microwave and pay hot drink machine in the common room but no hot water kettle in the room.

Good location and type room , the cleaning

One of the nights we arrived at the hostel at 4am and couldn’t find the keys , looked everywhere in the purse . The reception closed at certain time during the night and open around mid morning. We called the number of the person in charge and couldn’t be reached a few times . He said the next day that the call didn’t go through , but we have local friends with local phones fin Madrid and the calls went though and their phones were working fine . We couldn’t spend the night at the hostel cause we couldn’t get in . The key was never found and they made me pay 50 euros . It was unacceptable there was nobody to pick up the phone in case of an emergency.

The location is in a nice youthful area of Madrid, within walking distance to everything. There are supermarkets nearby along with lots of options for going out to eat. The building is clean and very modern, and the AC worked during the heatwave. Can't beat the price.

The front office was almost never staffed, and there is no emergency number to contact if you need assistance. We and another couple were locked out of the hotel on two occasions. The first because the front office was closed and there was no one to retrieve a key from. The second time was because the electric key lock broke and we had to wait for someone to walk out of the door to get in to the hotel.

I had double room with a private bathroom. I liked the fact that the room was cleaned each day and fresh towels were provided. I loved that we had a mini fridge in our room. I also liked how secure the hostel was in general. There was a main door into the building, a door into the hostel itself and then a door into your private room - all of which had to be accessed by key card.

I do not have anything negative to say about this stay. If I had to add one very minor comment I would say that we did not interact with the owner/reception at all. Everything was done via messenger on booking.com. Some people may view this as a negative.

Booking.com and hostal did not provide information that office for check in is at different addresss across the street. Should also be a sign at locked door to outside with this information. Reception with limited hours, unclear how to communicate with them at other times. No access to microwave or any way to make hot water or coffee. If this was available somewhere no information provided on check in.

The apartment was reasonable sized for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom place. The kitchenet was just right and the place was easy to come and go from for touring Madrid.

The bathroom was very small for using the toilet...they need to make the vanity much smaller and turn the toilet 90 degrees so it faces the shower to make it more easy to use. The cleaning crew came into the apartment twice while I was gone even though the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door.

Very well located, in the city center with a lot of bars, supermarkets and attractions nearby. Gran via is only at 5 min walking. The rooms are quite, despite the area is very busy during the weekend.

I had to wait for the reception to open 30 min once I did the check out. I called many times but no response. Same thing happened when I came back picking the luggage. You might find the reception closed during the time it's supposed to be open. I would just suggest to keep calling (even if it's not the best experience, especially during a rainy day).

Excellent tourist location in the center of Madrid, surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars. Very close to the grand avenue and a 5-minute walk from the metro station that takes you to the airport. Spacious room with beautiful interior design, excellent cleanliness. Excellent customer service from the staff at the reception. I would definitely stay at the hostel again. Highly Recommended.

It was recently renovated and has good location.

Staff: first person who received us, Javier, was excellent and very helpful; but Eva, who couldn’t help us with our confirmed reservation made us change our reservation. We reserved days in advance and at the last moment the booking platform informed of a problem that was easily solved but staff wasn’t able to hold the reservation: very frustrating!! Felt unappreciated. We had to book another place to stay at the last minute.
