Newly decorated rooms are spacious and fresh. Location is more than perfect! If you need hairdryer, you need to ask at the reception.

We booked Hostel Marlasca based on the photos we saw on Booking. However, when we came, they gave us old smelly and dirty room on the 4th floor. We made a complaint, but they told us that they do not have newly renovated rooms free, and that they will organise new room for next day. They did, however, we did not pay for that old room, and it sure was not on their page....(we have not got refund for that night).

This place was perfect for exploring Madrid! The location was the reason we chose it, but the Hostal was better than we could have expected. It was extremely family-friendly. Most of the people we saw in the halls also had kids. we stayed in a room that had a small balcony, but there were modern insulated windows that really blocked out the noise, which was awesome because this place is located right where the action is! We could enjoy the balcony with all the singing and revelry below, or close the windows and have peace and quiet. The room was clean, the staff was helpful, and we were able to rest between attractions.

The room had a couple of quirks, one of the ac units dripped (we just used the other one, so no big deal), and the bathroom had frosted glass doors with no lock. we actually made a sign so we wouldn't walk in on each other.

Splendid budget hotel to visit Madrid. Ideal location, excellent bed, top notch aircon ( very important in Spain 😆). Compact room, safe for valuables, almost brand new bathroom with very large walk-in shower). Rarely do I feel home in a hotel in just two nights so if and when I visit I will come back.

Madrid is wonderful city… which demands maintenance so there was some street work but there are tons of ways to get to the hotel so a minor nuisance. Also I visited at the beginning of June so plenty of school children but after 9:30 pm the hotel fell perfectly silent.

Great location, near many restaurants and right in the centre of the city. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was very comfortable, I was able to fall asleep instantly. There are lockers to put your things away when you come before it’s time to check-in, which was a plus since I arrived super early in the morning. The air con worked perfectly and it kept the room in a good temperature compared to the very hot weather of June in Spain. Even though the staff can only speak Spanish we were able to communicate clearly, even with my broken Spanish.

It was in an excellent location. We could easily walk to attractions, restaurants, etc. We stayed twice at the hotel, at the start and end of our trip. om both occasions the room was quite spacious and had large windows. The rooms were very clean and I like that the bedding was a duvet rather than a sheet and blankets. The beds were very comfortable. It was very convenient to have the shower in a separate room from the toilet and sink as we were a family of 4 sharing a room.

It would have been nice to have a hair dryer in the bathroom.

Madrid tourist area is really compact so this hotel kinda located in the middle of them all. You get lots of restaurant around and walking distance to most tourist attraction. I have no issue with any noise despite the Tapas bar was all around the hotel.

you have to pay 2 euro for a locker to store stuff. Must say the locker was huge that we could store 2 trolley bag but still dislike that I need to pay for it.

Everything. Amazingly clean. 24/7 staff access very kind, thorough, efficient. Man cleaning stairs, women cleaning rooms, men on reception all polite, hardworking & smiley.

We did not dislike anything BUT think it fair to mention that outside the hostel is very noisy at all times. Incredible, lively central location comes with noise.

The hostel is in center of the city, close to shops, restaurants and all important turistical places to be seen in Madrid. The reception is open 24 hours - is a person there to help you anytime you need it. The cleaning - exceeded our expectations, a totally five starts cleaning. We definitely recomad it.

The location was perfect! We have been to Madrid several times and we love that location. Especially now that we are right next to Casa Toni, one of our top favorite restaurants in Madrid! The lift in the building is a godsend for us with multiple luggage.

Just a minor setback is the unavailability of a refrigerator in the room. If they had one then it would be PERFECT.

Best location, small room but clean and with a nice bathroom. Perfect value for money. It was so easy to get to so many attractions in Madrid.

Parking could get expensive around there, so better if you don't take a car while there. That's what we did.
