Hotel Barajas Plaza

This is one of the best places for those departing on morning flights from Madrid airport. They have a garage to park your car off the street if needed and only a short walk to bus stops as well. And it is pretty quiet, just off the plaza. An evening in Barajas should include dinner at one of the nearby restaurants on the plaza, all within an easy walk. There is a good breakfast place a minute or two walking time away, Churretería Barajas. It features chocolate and churros as well as café that one needs to begin the day. The staff are always happy to be of help. We have stayed there several times.

This is not a fancy hotel but everything that ones needs is there and clean. And it works.

It was good for my last night in Madrid as i needed something close to the airport for an early flight. The bus station is like 2 minutes away on foot and it's about 35mn from the center if madrid. The staff was friendly, the lady that welcomed me in spoke spanish, english and french which was cool. The room is decently sized for one person with a desk and a quite big bathroom and the bed was one person but very comfy and everything was really clean. Also there's an outside space that looked quite cool and pretty but it was December so I couldn't enjoy it sadly.

The street is a little scary at night and you can hear people in the other rooms (there was a baby crying all night) but overall not that bad to be honest. Also the price was a little steep especially when it's so far away from everything, no breakfast etc

Excellent hotel for the money. Apart from having various amenities in the area, such as restaurants and other shops, it has the added advantage of being very close to Barajas airport. We were actually able to walk to the airport terminal from the hotel and it took about 10-15 minutes. (NOTE: This applies to Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Terminal 4 is too far away, but you can walk to T2 and catch the free transit bus to T4 from there.) The staff was pleasant and helpful. We only stayed for one night, so we did not have the chance to fully evaluate it, but overall it was a very positive experience. I would definitely stay there again.

I can't think of anything negative. It was only a one-night stay, for the purpose of catching a flight from Barajas airport the following morning. The hotel location and amenities were more than adequate.

An ideal place as a layover, if you're catching another flight the next morning. We travelled longghaul & were ccatching a eurpean flught nxt morng. Very helpful people and even made us a great cup of tea. It's only a short walk to the square for a meal.

Would hv preferred sockets closer to the bed/side tables to recharge mobiles and still take a look before sleeping. You would need quite a long extension wire to plug into socket near desk. The tv would need to be unplugged.

The receptionist was most helpfull and spoke excellent English. I tried my Spanish but she made life much easier ! Hotel was only a short distance from the bus 101 terminus in Plaza Mayor de Barajas - saved cab fares and a long walk from the airport.

The fact that there was no breakfast and that most of the local restaurants didn’t open very early. At least I could get a coffee for €2 on request from reception.

I liked that it is so close to the airport. The guy on the desk was friendly and helpful, he organised a taxi to come and pick us up in the morning. The room was clean, modern and adequate for our needs. My son and I were very comfortable here.

The only thing that I didn't like was that there was no internal lock or chain on the door. However, we were only there between 12.30am - 5.45am, so were not there long enough to comment on things such as location, and local amenities

We chose this hotel to be close to the airport and based on price. Compared to other Madrid hotels this was less expensive though away from the town centre. The quality was good enough. Warm welcome from receptionist who was able to organise a very early check-in for us. Local town had a few bars and restaurants so no need to go back into Madrid in the evening.

Hotel prices in Madrid area are very high.

Within walking distance the airport (terminals 1-2-3), and the reception staff were friendly and polite. The room was much nicer than expected, being upgraded to a double when I only paid for a single. Strong Wi-Fi too.

I don't have much to comment on. Perhaps better sound and light insulation around the door, since sometimes the echo down the corridor can be quite loud, but no worse than many similar hotels. In fact it may have had better sound insulation than many similar hotels.

Great location if you're flying out early or want to stay in a suburb outside of the super-crowded centre of Madrid. The room was nifty and very clean. GREAT BATHTUB!!! Staff was also really, really sweet. I liked the neighbourhood- a very normal-seeming area with a few decent places to eat. Nice plaza one block away.

the bed was very hard.

The staff was very kind. Easy place to reach from the airport by bus or taxi. Good place to stay if you lay over for one night Nice places to eat around the village.

They arrange the taxi for the early morning to go to the airport. The taxi charge the double even though was free-now platform. So u better get the taxi by yourself. Apart of that! No complains ❤️
