Set in a charming historic building, the hotel has recently undergone renovations and has been tastefully decorated. The entrance, the library with many art books, and the hotel restaurant are simply stunningly beautiful. Feel like you are in a palace! The room is beautiful and stylish, but small and impractically tidy (a large sink between the entrance and bed, outside the bathroom) Excellent and courteous, professional and loyal staff, take care of the hospitality with all their heart. Apart from the morning arrangement of the room, every evening they come again to tidy up, and put a bottle of water and chocolate on the pillow, with a designed card. On the first day, despite the official opening being held at the hotel, the staff took care of everything that was lacking and greeted us with a birthday greeting, champagne, and fruit. Thanks to Patricia from the Guest Experience department, who ensured our satisfaction with the room and was kind and helpful. The spa pool is beautiful and new, and so is the gym. The pool also has jacuzzi jets, a damp sauna, and a dry sauna. Everything is beautifully decorated. The breakfast options are excellent, diverse, and of the highest quality, served in a beautiful restaurant. Without a doubt, the most beautiful hotel in Madrid. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and in a great location, however I must say that my favorite part of our stay was the staff & service :) Every single member of the staff was extremely kind and helpful with everything!! From the moment we checked in with Alex, who gave us lots of great recommendations. Elena and Yeni from the restaurant Mache especially nice and their level of service was impeccable. David helped us with a quick and easy checkout. All of the doormen and housekeeping staff were so generous and helpful, I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Madrid!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure every need was met with a smile. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel truly welcome. The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the heart of the city with easy access to all major attractions. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, you'll find everything you need within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants, shops, and cultural sites. The hotel has been decorated beautifully, a blend of modern luxury with historical charm including a gorgeous library. I can see it would be a great place to come with my company and for group events as well. Very comfortable bed too. And finally the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Fresh, fine ingredients and fruits in the buffet with the option of ordering eggs individually prepared with your own preference and even your own tortilla de patata.

I liked everything, the internal swimming pool was not ready yet but am looking forward to going back when it is finalised.

We loved the whole vibe of the hotel. The staff were very attentive and professional throughout our stay. We even got a personal tour of the facilities on our arrival. The location and design of the building is superb and we loved heading back ( home) after a day out sightseeing. It’s classy from check in to check out.

Nothing much. Although there seemed to be a lot of noisy doors and heavy footsteps in the corridor outside our room. Some carpet and some door closers should be ordered I reckon. Small point but you did ask.

The property was absolutely beautiful. The facilities were well designed with a lot of attention to detail. Having the wellness area as well as the library and restaurant made it a place I wanted to be in when I needed downtown on my trip. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly and made me feel so comfortable as a woman on my own.

I was in a street facing room, and the street noise kept me up on night.

Nice comfortable room and bed. Delicious and extensive breakfast buffet in a lovely dining area. Very convenient to get to - right at a Metro stop.

Hotel Madrid Atocha was great - especially as a solo female traveler. The room was lovely!! The front desk staff helped me to navigate a nail salon, laundry facilities, markets, etc. They had security at the front door 24/7. My Spanish is questionable at best and everyone greeted in Spanish, but switched to English when I started to struggle in Spanish. Unlike other locations, I appreciated that they let me try my Spanish speaking (until it was unproductive) without judgement. The breakfast buffet was expansive! Fruit, yogurt, tons of pastries, eggs, quiche, churros, juices, milk, coffee/espresso. I would 100% stay here again. It was also walking distance to so many great things (Retiro Park, Museo del Prado, restaurants, bars, metro).

The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and all the spaces are well thought out. The facilities are as described and provide a great level of comfort. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they were all exceptional, very attentive, very warm and very willing to help. Nothing was too much for them and they made the trip so much more relaxing and enjoyable

The property is beautiful and location is excellent. I walked to the national museum , shopping and restaurants! David, the manager accommodated me in my very early arrival time, got me set up in an excellent room. All the people working there are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is very pretty too!! I will definitely stay there again! Thank you

Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are very clean and there is everything you need (bathrobes, slippers, coffee machine, etc.)

Rooms are relatively small and the superior rooms windows face into a very close wall (it’s a kind of an indoor patio). Bathrooms is very tiny also.
