I am an environmentalist, so I look for things that cut down on waste like the dispenser bottles in the bathroom. One thing that I wasn’t happy about was that in the summer you had only a comforter on the bed. In the past hotels would have sheets, a blanket and bedspread. A comforter is too warm and you then need to increase the air conditioning. I realize that as a hotel that it’s hard change things around, but how about comforters for six months and sheets and blankets for six months.

I didn’t like the glass door to the bathroom. I was trying to sleep and my grandson, who was with me was using the bathroom. The light was too much.

Great location!! Practically across the street from the Prado, Retiro park and Hop-On Hop-Off bus stops. Easy walking distance to Renia Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza museums and loads of restaurants. Strongly recommend the breakfast!! Can't think of a thing that was missing. And the selection varied everyday.

Not really a negative...just not sure if there was a lunch or dinner restaurant.

Location of this hotel is amazing, everything is in the walking distance. Breakfast was great, lot of choices, tasty food, great coffee. Front desk employees were very polite. To get from the airport to the hotel we used a yellow bus which costs 5 euros per person, and it stops at Plaza de Cibeles which is about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel. For our departure from Madrid we had an early flight and the hotel was nice enough to order us a taxi which was waiting for us in front of the hotel and was there before time. I loved it here, great neighborhood with a lot of great tapas bars in the area.

The bed was terrible. Very squeaky, every time I would turn I would wake myself up. Never have I ever stayed in a hotel with such horrible beds. A lot of noise was coming from the other rooms. Also, I didn’t bring my own body lotion since a 4 star hotel usually provides you with one, but here it wasn’t the case so I didn’t like that. The last day of our stay, the cleaning lady took all of our towels even though they were clean, folded and untouched under the sink.

The staff of the hotel are super nice and friendly. They'll help you in any way they can. The place is clean too. They have a coffee/tea station in the room. Lovely breakfast. And the hotel has a great location. Will definitely stay here again.

The room we were in was a bit small for 3 adults. There wasnt any room to walk around. We didnt mind because we were there for only a couple of days but if you are staying longer it would be nice to have a bigger room.

This place is a little far from gran via and plaza mayor etc. It's very close to the museum Prado. It just got a bit taxing walking so much. Otherwise there was no problem. We asked for a towel. They were so prompt and willing to help.

Everything about the hotel was nice.

Centrally located next to Prado Museum, good local restaurants nearby. Easy access to transport including sightseeing buses. Room done everyday, great breakfast, very attentive personal. Great to have coffee and tea in the room.

Room is relatively small, with the extra bed open, it was impossible to open the door to balcony.

We rented a suite so we were expecting to get more than our friends in just one room but getting nearly 5x more, when you took account of the bedroom & lounge, double balcony, walk in shower and jacuzzi bath, for just E200 more was a bargain. The continental breakfast had a Spanish twist as you could also have Churros & Chocolate. Loction was great and they also had limited car parking in the basement if you needed it. And the Prado was just the other side of the Avenue!

Nothing that I can think of. No I cannot come up with anything negative. Sorry!

The staff was exceptionally welcoming (Atiana gets a soecial nod). Breakfast was very good, the location is unbeatable. Beds and pillows were comfortable. I will recommend it to friends and family, and will stay there again.

When they host a meeting of any size, they incorporate part or most of the sitting area in the lobby. Guests have to find other spaces to socialize in.

Breakfast is good. They had tortilla de patata, tomato bread, jamon serrano, muesli, vegan milks, muffins. It's a pretty good variety. Also I liked the location, nearby there are many good bars and restaurants.

Parking too narrow, I doubt an SUV fits in. The room walls are overly thin. You can hear your neighbors' conversations pretty clear even when they talk at a normal volume. I had never experienced this in any other hotel. Lastly, the bathroom door is not an actual door, it's a glass panel. This means that if someone goes to the bathroom at night or pretty early in the morning, the light flashes through the room and wakes up your partner. This is quite odd.

Superb location. Near local restaurants and a walking distance to all scenic locations in Madrid Centro. Near tour buses if u intend to book for excursion in Toledo or Segovia.

Kinda pricey with the small rooms given to us.
