The team at reception and the team at the restaurant were very helpful, absolutely charming and really friendly.

It was a lovely property. The view and sound of the sea in our room was just great. I would have loved a ‘comfy chair corner’ from which to enjoy the view! The twin beds were very comfortable. Shower facility was great but I found it difficult not to flood the bathroom floor😀 sometimes. And a small fridge for those extra bottles of water would have been really good! Overall a wonderful stay in a lovely place run by a lovely team of people. 👍👍👍

This hotel really exceeded our expectations - it is much better than it looks on the pictures! It has a very cool rooftop with a self-service bar and jakuzi with amazing seaview! The lady at reception was very friendly, she upgraded us to a nicer room, which was available at the time and also kindly agreed to store our luggage for a bit longer after check out. The beach is right at the front door, in the morning you can also go out for a run along the beach, and the area is full of great restaurants. The hotel itself has its own restaurant and bar which was also very good. The center of Malaga is easily reachable by bus, but we definitely prefer this part of the city for accommodation.

This is a fantastic hotel by the beach. If you want to unwind in Malaga, this is the spot. The rooms are big, clean and overall well maintained. Almost all rooms have a big window facing the beach and top 2 rooms have a window to view the sky. The windows also have an electric shutter to close it in case you prefer no light in the room. The bed is big and super comfortable. There is a hot tub jacuzzi available as well. The restaurant below has an amazing breakfast and its very affordable. Tonnes of restaurant around as well. Overall, this place is worth the money!

Nothing! Loved everything. Just a note, this hotel is about 10-15 mins from the train station and not very well connected to public transport. Best to take a local cab or cabify to get here (10-15 euros).

I was lucky enough to be given one of the rooms on the roof terrace. The bed was the comfiest I’ve slept in and it was relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. All the staff were friendly, the food was good, the hot tub was warm and perfect for relaxing with a superb view over the beach and sea. The honesty bar is a great idea with very reasonable prices. For the included breakfast you could order a choice of fresh fruit juices, a drink such as coffee and a main dish chosen from the main breakfast menu which was a great start to the day. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel has an ideal location on the beach. It has a terrace on roof with hot tub and a place to relax. Had parking spaces nearby at 10E per day. Terrace bedroom big and spacious.

Staff receptionist was exceptional and very helpful. Staff in bar/restaurant unfriendly, unhelpful and at times rude. Breakfast served in restaurant with the public. Had no idea what we were allowed and having ordered a coffee, one egg omelette and crossiant she called us back to say we had had TWO breakfasts!! and had to pay for second!

You can also park your car for free on the street or in the nearby public car park, and then reach this fantastic seafront hotel. Friendly staff, great room, top quality bar serving a fabulous breakfast and close to restaurants and sea. The city center is not that far, walk or take the bus. We thoroughly enjoyed all of this.

Big screen TV with few channels and no fridge/minibar, but the bar offers everything at low prices, so who cares? The terrace has a jacuzzi and sunbeds with the only rule being who gets in first, again we didn't mind much.

The hotel was even nicer than I imagined. The rooms were tidy and comfortable - the ocean view was amazing, the jacuzzi and Honesty Bar were great on the rooftop and the restaurant was excellent, so glad we had breakfast included. This hotel stands out from other places on the beach in Malaga from the research I did - it was so cozy, charming and more elevated than I realized it would be :)

The location is incredible, the fact you are right by the sea and can literally hear it as you nod off is incredible. It's also nice to have the restaurant there with many good options for any and every meal. The staff are lovely, even when it is so busy they are polite and considerate

The food was good but the breakfast included was a little small for what you pay for.

The location was perfect. On the beach in the middle of an old fishermen houses area with little streets and restaurants. The roof suite with the big balcony was wonderful, and the decoration was nice, fun and fresh. Neither too modern nor too "authentic", but just right for the place. Finally the staff was extremely friendly and willing to give advice or to help.

Hotel La Chancla was amazing. We had a brilliant time there. The girl at reception was so lovely and friendly as were all of the restaurant and hotel staff. It was perfect for our stay in Malaga. The roof top space was amazing for us and we had the best time there chilling during our stay. Perfect location on the beach and really close to explore the best of Malaga; Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, old town streets, best food, everything! So excellent to see authentic Malaga at it's best.
