Location, smooth check-in and check-out, daily receptionist with good reccomendations, nice, clean rooms, good breakfast

Good choice of food for breakfast - cereals, fruits, bread, rolls, ham, cheese and sweet pastries. Plus tea, coffee, juice. The hotel staff were all very friendly and informative and most of them spoke good English which was very helpful for a non-Spanish speaker such as me! I was able to leave my suitcase in a safe (locked) room on the day of check-out and come back to pick it up later, which was great. The room was clean and comfortable with a small balcony with a nice street view. Excellent and powerful shower in the bathroom. In spite of being opposite a restaurant / bar the outside noise didn’t go on too late and the street was usually quiet around midnight. One of the best things about the hotel is the location - you can walk into the centre of Malaga in literally 5-10 minutes. The harbour and sea front are also very close by and there is also a handy tourist information office at one end of the street (in a small square / skateboarding area). There is a cafe at the other end of the street which does excellent cake and also other restaurants, cafes and bars nearby.

Nothing to majorly dislike, but it would have been nice if the hotel could have supplied an iron. Possibly not one for every room but one available if needed! Also how about a kettle and tea, coffee and some bottles of water in each room? I’m not sure if this is less common in Spanish hotels! Perhaps a hotel bar would have been nice too.

My husband and I loved the central location of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The area was quiet and peaceful.

My husband said his bed was very hard and uncomfortable. We missed tea/coffee facilities in the room

Clean comfortable well located budget hotel for overnight stay. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but reasonable selection of food and drinks. I arrived at 22.30 from the airport and at 23.00 went looking for a meal nearby. No problems, plenty of choice nearby. The bus stop for the airport and for the main railway station are both a short walk away. Ideal. I was also able to store my suitcase for a while .

Superb base from which to discover Malaga. Close to port, cathedral, shops and restaurants, bus stop. Great value for money. Very friendly and helpful reception staff.

A double bed instead of twin beds would have made this perfect. Still highly recommend though.

Whilst the rooms were small and compact they were perfectly adequate for our stay. We were very happy with the breakfast, it was nicely laid out, good selection of cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses & pastries. The coffee machine worked very well. The staff worked very efficiently & were very friendly & pleasant.

The ventilation in the bedroom was not switched on for our first two nights of the stay. When we advised the receptionist this was addressed. However it was addressed for one night and the following night the ventilation was inadequate again. From our room there was loud noise emanating from the street below late at night while the waste bins located below ground were being emptied. Whilst it was quite loud it didn’t last for too long.

The hotel was clean and very centrally located. Malaga is a great place! Staff were friendly and approachable. Rooms were big enough and shower room was lovely. The breakfast was from 8.00 until 11.00 which meant you never felt rushed. Staff work hard for their customers here. Decor was nice and bright. AC available in rooms too. Easy walk to either the beach or the Historic quarter. Easy to get to on the train from the airport- station a 10 minute walk across the bridge!

Beds were a little bit too hard, but prefer this to too soft. You can hear guests going to their rooms but this hotel has stone floors, so it cannot be avoided. But once people were in their rooms, no noise could be heard. No street noise in our room.

The location is perfect if you are looking for accommodation in the centre of the city. All the bars, restaurants and port are on your doorstep, giving lots of choice for things to do. The room was clean but not huge and there was a little noise from the bars in the street below but we expected this because of the great location and it did not spoil our stay at all. There is 24 hour reception cover and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, there was plenty of choice and we looked forward to it each morning. We would certainly use this hotel again when visiting Malaga.

Excellent location, very close to the historic and shopping area and bus transport. Staff is polite, especially the folks in the restaurant which serves a big cold buffet and hot drinks for breakfast (I had paid for it in my reservation). The room was clean and well-sized, with an en suite, and equipped with a tv, desk, chair, toiletries and a small balcony that looked out onto the narrow street in front of the entrance. There’s a good restaurant right across and the WiFi in the hotel was strong enough to be accessed outside. The front desk also sells bottled water and a few snacks. They hold luggage in some cubbies in an inner hallway. They aren’t locked but seem secure enough. There is also a seating area there and toilets. I could walk to the historic area and ritzy shopping street and get to the hotel easily using the airport bus, and also travel to the castle/beaches.

The hearty breakfast included a variety of produce which was much appreciated. Rooms were clean, comfortable with good air conditioning. Staff were helpful arranging our taxis to the airport. There was a nice restaurant just outside the hotel together with a couple of tapas bars. These were far far better value and not nearly as congested nor as pricey as those nearby in the very busy centre of the city or near the harbour. We stayed for one night at the start of our trip and another night before we went home. The hotel stored some luggage (bike bags) for us during the interim period which was very much appreciated.

I wish I could have stayed longer.
