Because of time constraints we we unable to take breakfast as we had a connection to make. Room was of a good size with slightly noisy air conditioning: Bath shower good standard with separate WC. Everything was immaculately clean Our room had a small balcony overlooking the garden and pool and, the balcony, had a small table and two chairs to sit in the evening.

Lack of tea/ coffee making facility in room. Slightly unusual lighting set up, lots of switches but some counter acted the others, must be a logic to it but did not stay long enough to work it out.

Always wanted to stay at a Parador, and despite this being in the middle of nowhere, it didn't disappoint. Ideally located next to a secure truck parking area (we were delivering 2 x Motorhome artics to Portimao from Spa) it meant the trucks were secure, and we could relax, big plus for us. A little spartan but with lovely touches, wide corridors, thick carpets, lovely big rooms with a bath (Thankyou!) and bidet :). And a balcony, if only we had more time. Staff were fantastic, food was great, but the restaurant staff could be a little rude. Maybe it was because our Spanish was terrible. But all in all, highly recomended.

Cheap toilet paper in the rooms,no tea or coffee making equipment in the room, and choice of food in the restuarant left a lot to be desired, and food not very warm when it reached the table.

The plus points are also the negative points. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained with lovely staff, grounds, and a good room. The location, which makes it perfect for a stop-over, also makes it quite noisy when out of the building, being very close to the motorway. The glazing in the room is very efficient. We walked into Manzanares, which was very nice but also very quiet as it was a Sunday.

We loved the property but the traffic noise outside is quite bad. I think the hotel probably pre-dates the motorway so it’s a shame is so close.

Staff were bery helpful and friendly. Had a café so whatever time you turn up in the day.can get a drink and food. Bar was available before the evening meal for a drink. Nice location. Good parking within the grounds. Would definately recomend.

Was not overly impresed with.my evening meal. I had lamb cutlets but struggled to find any meat and the chips were greasy. Wine was good and service.

The beds were very comfortable, and the employees were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

We had stayed there twice before because it is a stopping place on our trips back from the North of Spain to Granada. The only negative thing was that when we arrived at 17.00, it was impossible to eat anything (not even a sandwcih or something cold like ham and cheese) because the kitchen was closed. They told us that we would have to wait unti 20.30 when the kitchen opened.

The clean rooms with balconies, the art and decor and delicious breakfast plus well-kept gardens. Friendly staff. Our first stay in a parador hotel and a very good experience

It’s hard to escape that it’s right alongside the main road. Although this makes it handy for a stop-over to the south (our purpose) it does distract from the pretty garden & pool although bedrooms are very well insulated from the sound of traffic.

Too close to the noisy motorway to relax outside in the garden. Quite a way out of town which is a nightmare to park in. Receptionist was not at all welcoming and provided no introduction to the property. Emergency fire escape was filthy.

First time for me in Parador de Manzanares. It fulfilled our expectations. We needed a place to stay and charge our batteries before continuing our trip to Madrid when coming from the South. The facilities, room, hotel itself, and breakfast were excellent. Also, the service and the staff were super friendly and professional. I will be stopping by here in the future, for sure, more often.

It's an old building, so the sound isolation is not the best. Despite that, we slept well.

Great location. The quality of the parador is consistently good. We have stayed several times. The overall quality is let down by the food which us disappointing Bd the restaurant which is slow. These facts do not stop us booking and rebooking.
