We arrived by car & it was easy to unload, check-in & access the hotel car park. The receptionist was helpful and suggested places to have dinner, not available at the hotel.The room was enormous with comfy chairs & a huge bed. The shower was good although the bathroom set-up is a little strange being “open plan”! Breakfast was excellent, buffet style with plenty of choice.

The room was a bit shabby & could have been cleaner - lots of ring marks on surfaces & toilet floor showing pee stains

Booked as a stop over driving from Bilbao to Costa Mijas. Secure underground parking was managed carefully with our transit sized wheelchair adapted van. Staff very welcoming but, given we were in a rural location, their English was still better than our Spanish! Had an accessible room which the bathroom could be a struggle as not a wet room but a shower seat was provided. Good choice of food in the bar and breakfast was plentiful. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent hotel, nice rooms although a bit clinical, great breakfast and very friendly staff. The waitresses at breakfast gave me the impression they were happt to work there. That's always a good sign.

Difficult hotel to get to as in the middle of town. You need to park the car outside the hotel (absolute max three spaces) before booking in and getting into the garage. The problem was the car spaces appear to be taken up by visitors to the bar opposite.

We booked this at the last minute as there was a problem with our previously booked hotel. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the main square which is lovely for sitting in for a drink and watching the world go by. The room was large with a whirlpool bath which was a bonus. There is a small spa area upstairs but we didn't use this. Lots of places locally to eat, but there is a cafe in the front of the hotel if you just want a snack. Parking is underneath the hotel and is reasonably priced. Breakfast is buffet style with everything you could want and you can have freshly squeezed orange juice from the machine provided.

This was our 3rd visit to Hotel Veracruz Plaza, I can very much recommend this hotel, excellent in every way, clean, very smart, very friendly staff, oh so comfortable, right opposite the plaza and a short walk to the main square, with bars and restaurants all around it, very attractive town. There are museums around the hotel area and enough shops.

Location of hotel was excellent - right in the centre of Valdepenas so easy to walk to main square, bars and restaurants. Hotel parking was very good - worth paying the extra for secure underground parking. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast and food was good quality.

Hotel room looked a bit tired - possibly in need of refurbishment?

Staying in this Hotel is an experience that feels like another World The Medieval setting of the Great Hall and its comfortable areas are wonderful Not to mention the amazing Wine that this vineyard is so famous for The Anniversary offer not to be missed Fine breakfast overlooking the immaculate fields and vines

The bed mattress was very comfortable which was for me a critical part, the bathroom was big and had what you needed, the room was spacious for what you're paying for, and last but not least the location was 5 minutes from where 5 minutes from work.

I know it comes with free breakfast but maybe they should do more variety of food, eating the same food for 5 days becomes boring a little bit.

Very comfortable. Bed was excellent and pillows were perfect. Room was a good size. Breakfast was very good and open until 11am which was great for us as we were late arrivals after a long journey. Also we were given 2 cold bottles of water on checkout - that was greatly apreciated thank you hotel

The breakfast options were excellent for us during our stay. There was nothing you could have wished for that wasn’t there. When something was running low, staff were there to immediately refill the section. It was all delicious and fresh.

The furniture in our room had seen better days, but it was nothing major and had no impact on our stay.
