Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location is great, right next to the train that goes into Barcelona. There's a small shopping centre next door with a supermarket, shop and 2 nice restaurant/cafes that are open late. There's a Lidl up the road but we found the local supermercado was very fairly priced and had everything we needed. Pool was amazing, a real highlight of the hotel. It was clean, the views were great and the roof is perfect for sun bathing. Rooms were nice, we had a nice view and they were cleaned daily. It was nice that there was also a mini bar.

More selection for breakfast would be nice and a second coffee machine to reduce the wait time. Kettle or drink making facility in the room would be nice too. Only small suggestions, all in all I was very happy with my stay.

This is my third time to stay at this place. I'm generallty quite happy with the value for money rate. It is important to keep in mind the trains schedule to plan the Barcelona visit times. And when you do, it's very covenient and fast. The hotel is well maintained and except a few very minor issues, everything is functional and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

The room I got had a rather minor issue with the plumbing in the bathroom. Nothing serious and when reported that to the staff, they immediately changed the room to another one which was perfect.

Secrotel hotel impressed us a lot. At first it felt that it was to far away from Barcelona, but train R3 came directly to hotel. Only 100-200m walking. The hotel had good staff and everything was taken care of. Hotel and room was clean and was cleaned every day. Hotel also had a pool on the 4th floor and is open from 9-21. The best part is hotel location. In the same building but one level down from outside is super market, dry cleaning (self service), few restaurants and ATM. Restaurant staff is nice and were very helpful. Even help my gf with pain killers when she had a headache. There was no pharmacy near by. I really recommend this hotel even if you need to travel 20min on train from catalony train station. One last thing. Train station bar staff is also very nice and helpful. Just remember to check when train comes because it does not go so often, specially on weekends. We used Google maps to check train schedule. Also train might sometimes be late 1-20min. If you plan on weekend to stay late at Barcelona at which point train will not travel anymore or some other reason you can take taxi. We took one from Barcelona Sants to Hotel and it was 27€.

Actually have nothing much to say.

The hotel is quite nice and clean, food is good but the portions are small. Very good breakfast with a good variety. Overall it's quite a nice experience. A train station is beside the hotel if you wish to travel by train. Parking was available outside the hotel.

You have to pay for a good cup of coffee, for your breakfast, but there is an automated coffee maker for free. It pitty there is no indoor pool and a Jacuzzi for time to relax.

Good for relaxing away from the bustle of Barcelona

The train service is tricky. You can end up easily in the wrong destination at first. It's important to know the times of the last trains on weekdays and public holidays, or you may end up paying for unplanned taxis. There's not much happening around the hotel, and you feel you're in a dormitory town.

The staffs and local people there are friendly. There is a supermarket downstair. There are also coffee shops and restaurant in the same area which are very convenient.

It's quite far from the city center. The R3 train is not on time and confusing all the time.

The staff were really friendly and bed was comfortable. I have stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Rooms were nice and clean good size and the house keepers are really on top of keeping rooms clean making your bed and changing over towels !

Pool could be updated a bit it seems it needs some TLC. Hopefully once COVID protocols relax you can put coffee facilities in all rooms. Just be prepared if you are staying here for any large events like a festival it's a bit out of the way so getting a taxi can be challenging

great hotel, great roof top pool (perfect sun trap) friendly & helpful staff!

we came for the F1 and unfortunately there is no train line directly from this hotel to the circuit so just bare this in mind when booking, a cab was around €25/30 to the circuit from the hotel! But obviously this is no fault of the hotel just poor planning from myself!

Staff was great. The man at the reception was very friendly, we had to change hotel last minute. The reception put a smile on our faces again and gave us free water. Also, a lot of information about the city and handing out timetable for trains into the city. Breakfast was great!

The pool could have been cleaner.

Everything was good and the receptionist who was working this morning 10/06/23 was so kind.(unfortunately I don’t remember his name) He made me some coffee before leaving the hotel to the airport at 6 in the morning. That made my day. A Big thanks to that amazing man 👏🏻
