We love the area and return frequently, always living in Capistrano. The apartment was situated right at the reception, very spacious balcony with morning sun. Small kitchen but with all you need - especially appreciated the hot air toaster oven! With afternoon sun and a lounge group this would have been a strong 10! Happy to return!

We missed the evening sun on the balcony, and somewhat the view of the ocean - but the view of the mountains is also breathtaking. A cosy lounge group on the balcony would have been nice - but without the late sun it probably wouldnt be used so much. Now we are being picky - we had two nice weeks, loved it and would gladly return!

I stayed for four nights at this place, and it was an absolutely fantastic and enchanting experience. The area is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, and the apartment is exceptionally clean and spacious. It's well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine, making it suitable for families. The terrace is very spacious and offers breathtaking views. The apartment is conveniently close to the beach, just a 25-minute walk or five minutes by car. The pool is lovely and well-maintained, with separate pools for adults and children. The fact that there's free parking and a Carrefour supermarket, an ATM, and a tennis court nearby adds to the convenience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Jauier, who is a kind, helpful, and English-speaking individual. He provided me with many recommendations for places to visit in the area.

The only minor downside is that some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but this is hardly an issue given the charm and cleanliness of the place. I highly recommend this place.

The appartment was really big, with all things necessary in the kitchen, also very clean. The whole area lies in a lovely well maintained garden, we liked to stroll through it to the sea and city center. The staff was helpful and very friendly. We also had our appartment prepared wery early, which was really nice for us! We also enjoyed two teracces with beautiful views to the ocean and the gardens. We were able to walk to the beach through the nice city even with a 5 year old :)

We had a two floor apartment and there were really squeaky metal stairs leading up to the second floor - as we had a baby sleeping downstairs, this was quite a challenge not to wake her up and also in case of some problems at night. Also, we heard sounds of those stairs from our neighbors :D

we’re delayed picked keys up from neighbouring hotel fine but we’re searching for property in the dark with a disabled person with mobility scooter. facilities were fab apartment good need better check in arrangements!!!!!

Beautiful complex, well maintained pool area and gardens.Receptionist very helpful and informative. 20 mins walk to Centre. 2 large supermarkets close by .

We stayed in a 4 bedroom Villa. It was well equipped but the only downside was the outside furniture really needs to be updated and there was no sun loungers available in the Villa to enjoy the garden. The sun loungers at the pool cost €3.50 each per day.

The apartment was lacking in quite a few things eg chopping board ,sink drainer. Could also do with an updated kitchen. Only 1 socket in kitchen for appliances and the fridge freezer was plugged in very dangerously through a cupboard via an extension lead running over the bin.

We absolutely loved El Capistrano and would definitely stay again. We had an apartment above the main reception area. It was very well appointed and had a lovely large terrace. The bathroom is newly appointed with a lovely shower and there were some English channels on the TV and it was good to catch up with the news! The town on Nerja is not too far away and there are two excellent supermarkets within walking distance. There is a bus that runs round the complex but we did not use it as we had our car with us. The pool complex was lovely, however you have to pay for the sun loungers. Thankfully our apartment had sun chairs which we took with us.

Properties are rather crammed in and on 2 separate nights we were disturbed for separate reasons, however this would not put us off returning. Although it did not affect us, El Capistrano is on a hill and may not be suitable for folk with mobility issues etc.

Lovely pools and beautiful grounds. Very quiet. Apartment was nice enough and exceptional value for money. Nice balcony with a lovely view. Location is good in that near supermarkets and restaurants but it is right up in the hills away from Nerja. Lots of channels on tv and bathroom was nice enough. Staff were good. Washing machine in kitchen.

Hard to find and you have to go to reception who then drive you to the apartment. Sofa (futon) was unsteady and we couldn’t sit on it to avoid collapse so had to sit on wicker garden style chairs. Bed and bedding were ok. No aircon but did have fans which were fine. A little dated but very good value for money. The location is quite far from Nerja’s town e.g. bars, but there are plenty of nearby bars. The location is up in the hills and was fine for us to walk (30 mins up steep hills), but might be harder for some with mobility issues.

I have stayed at the Village many times and I’m many different types of property and I would honestly not stay anywhere else as it’s beautiful

I love everything about the Capistrano village The only thing I would point out is that it does have a few hilly parts so if you have mobility issues then I would recommend you email I’m advance as the staff can allocate potentially a house on the flatter parts
