We went in the off season. There was no one there except us. Literally! Not even any staff! We got the code for the room by WhatsApp and had the whole place for ourselves! It was super peaceful and a beautiful location!

Since we were all alone there was no service. But we had been told ahead of time and had brought provisions. Outside of off season obviously this hotel offers a full range of services. We felt really privildged to have the entire hotel for ourselves!

We loved the location - surrounded by beautiful views of the natural park. The pool lets you relax after the day of exploring wild beaches around. It is nearby a cute little town with a few good restaurants for the evening dinners. The staff was friendly and helpful!

The gang of mosquitos in the room made us loose our sleep. This amount of insects might be normal considering that you are in the middle of the nature, but I would appreciate if there would be some measures to fight the mosquitos, cause there were plenty of them. We even thought that they have some kind of nest there in the room... As well the street to a hotel could have been in a bit better condition. Now it is very bumpy.

The location in the middle of the mountains is amazing, we were here in low season so there was almost no one there. The room is spacious and has everything you need. Comfy bed! Nice walks from the hotel, and short drives to amazing lookout points. Staff is very friendly!

beautifully situated hotel in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we were looking for. the view from seaside view rooms is breathtaking and the stuff is very helpful. The pool is nice and the hotel is very well organized.

it might need a little bit of refreshment, but for this price it was exactly right.

The view in the sea view room ...to die for! Fantastic...off season so very quiet...they encourage you to bring your own food ...but they do make breakfast..and coffee.

Smells from drains in the room

The view from the terrace is amazing, specially at sunset. The place itself is very beautiful but it could offer much more. Maybe during summer it offers activities and the bar is open but right now it was only a place to sleep.

I understand that they sell the hotel as a place where to disconect and be in contact with nature, but it is weird that there is no WiFi in the rooms. Since the signal in some parts of the hotel is very weak it would be a bonus to have WiFi.

It's kind of a shame but they don't have great dining options. This may be because of Covid as they do have some lovely communal spaces or it could just be the way they operate. They do provide some snack type food, but for a proper meal you must travel to one of the villages nearby where there are many restaurants. It's a minor drawback and perhaps the lack of a full service restaurant keeps the Cortijo quiet and tranquil but it would be nice to be able to dine there some nights and enjoy the surroundings over a meal. There are fridges in the room and basic cutlery so you can prepare some things for yourself or bring take away back from one of the local restaurants to enjoy on your balcony so it really isn't a big deterrent

View was great. The scenery was amazing. Silent, very relaxing. Room with balcony, fridge, table, plates and cutlery. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to relax.

Hard to access without a car and the dirt road is very bumpy.

Quiet location, great for people who are not particularly looking for mass tourism

Not really something to complain about. Price vs quality was OK. We didn't use breakfast in the hotel. Most disturbing : some mosquitos in the room :-)

The hotel is beautiful, our terrace was amazing, we did not have see view but looked into the the dessert and enjoyed the quite evenings observing the stars. The pool is very nice and clean.

Our room door was very difficult to open and we needed to find out first the trick to be able to get it open. The internet is only working in public areas, it would be very nice to have internet in the room. The hotel has a big bar next to the pool, but it is never open. It would be nice to be able to get a drink while in the pool.
