The hotel facilities are excellent. It is clean, modern and has everything you need. The bathroom is spotless and has all amenities. The rooms are very pleasant. We had a ground floor room which had an amazing view of the pool area, and the room can be securely accessed from both the pool and the rear. Beds comfy, Air Conditioning Excellent, Kitchen Facilities fine. The pool was relaxing and very clean, the lifeguard literally mops up water left by people leaving the pool as soon as they lay down again. Sunbeds comfy too!

Bar and snack selection was pretty limited but this is matter-less as there are so many bars, restaurants and cafes within a 2-3 minute walk. We had a late flight and would've liked late check out or just somewhere to shower before we left, but they couldn't accommodate. The receptionist was really quite rude about it which was a shame, but I wouldn't let that put you off booking an otherwise excellent property. The only improvement for me would be to offer shower facilities for those with late flights

Excellent customer service from the staff. Clean room with great views, can barely hear the noise from the bars and restaurants on the front. Chilled and relaxed environment, everything you’d expect for a peaceful getaway.

The hill can’t go without a mention, it wasn’t too bad as we were near the bottom and there is a side gate but it’s a treck to get to reception from the bottom.

What an amazing place to stay! The location is absolutely spot on - just down 'cardiac hill' to the strip and the main beach. You have everything on your doorstep. We had breakfast each morning, and the choice of food was exceptional. There is also a chef on duty to cook, omelettes, crepes, eggs, bacon etc. upon request. There were plenty of staff on duty to cater to the number of guests. My partner had his birthday on the day before we left and he was absolutely delighted to be woken up to a knock on the door, and a staff member standing there singing 'Happy Birthday' to him, with birthday cake and a bottle of bubbly for us to celebrate with - truly unexpected and what I call going above and beyond - Bravo ! The pool area is gorgeous, as is the Chill Out zone, where you have a beautiful view of the sea, while you sunbathe. Our apartment was huge and very well equipped with had both a sea and pool view from our balcony, which was fantastic. Towels were changed every 2 days and sheets twice during our stay. We had Air Con in the main room and the bedroom - unfortunately it didn't work too well in the main room, but was excellent in the bedroom.

Was surprised that there was no free Wi-Fi for guests - instead there was a charge of €1 per day per person - when you are out most of the day sightseeing and sunbathing etc. you definitely do not get value for money. Was also disappointed that we had to hire the Safe in the room. It costs €21 per week - quite steep - when in all other hotels in which I stayed, this came free with the room.

Very spacious cozy room with a terrace and access to the pool. Inside there was everything needed for cooking (both appliances and utensils). Also geolocation is very very good, especially for those who came to attend Ironman Lanzarote. There is a lot of furniture and it is in order, the bed is comfortable, the closet is large.

The main one is cockroach invasion! There were a lot of them in the room! And also very strange Wi-Fi access system — it costed €10 for 7 days only for 2 devices and it didn't work well: each connected device was disconnected each time and it was required to enter login/password. The last one is cleaning service: it was only once in two days

Pool and lounge areas were fantastic. Super cute and lots of seating and umbrellas! Location was super close to the beach and the restaurants/bars.

Air conditioning in our apartment didn't work. We told the front desk and they said they would send someone but either they never did or they couldn't fix it. Either way they never followed up which was frustrating. Also, the loungers around the pool get 'reserved' pretty early even though they claim they have a no reserving chairs policy and make you sign something at check-in they don't actually enforce it.

This hotel is like a little piece of paradise. The only drawback is the very steep hill to get to the hotel from the beach/shops and also the bar was shut at 9.25 on Saturday night, we thought that wasn’t great for a Saturday night in June. The food and drink was very reasonable in the hotel and the rooms was spacious and had absolutely everything that was needed.

Absolutely loved this place. The apartment was perfectly equipped, very modern and clean. The pool area was beautiful with lovely views over the sea. The bar was lovely and a great place for a drink and snack (we didn’t try breakfast). Friendly staff and no real issues with people reserving sun beds. Great location only a couple of minutes walk from the strip and beach.

It wasn’t an issue for us but there’s a very steep hill to/from the strip and beach. It’s only 100 metres or so but it would be challenging for anyone with mobility challenges.

Bahia Kontiki is absolutely beautiful , the staff were so helpful. we got a complimentary drink on arrival. our room was stunning with balcony and sea and pool view. Netflix in the room and a kitchen with fridge etc. great supermarket straight across from us with everything you might need. good location for peurto del carmen when you walk down hill good choice of places to your left and right.

on my first day I was at the pool and a lady came up to me an hour after me being there saying that is her sun lounger. i noticed after that , that people are reserving sun loungers for hours each day and not even being there. it says in reception you are not allowed to do this but I think it should be monitored because you might not get a place to sit at the pool even though it is not full with people

good location, staff very friendly. they gave us a room to accommodate for the pram to make us more comfortable. i even got given a bottle of sparkling wine and cake on my birthday which was so lovely. pool area was nice with good views.

i understand why we were given our room as it was definitely accessible, but given that we paid for a sea view and seeing what that actually entailed, a little honesty in that room not being appropriate and even if it was just an acknowledgement and explanation rather than a refund as such would’ve been appreciated. but I do understand and am grateful we had the accessibility over the view.

Clean modern hotel, friendly helpful staff, fabulous pool area. But our favourite was the solarium with the sea view. Stunning. Lovely food and drinks. Good location. Already rebooked for March 2023

Extra payment of 2eur per day for WiFi and 3eur per day for room safe. I've never experienced this extra charge before at a hotel and it really let's down what is a fabulous hotel. Both are standard in every other 4star hotel I've ever stayed in. Such a pity.
