It was an excellent choice to stay at this hotel. Even if I try hard, it is difficult to find even a single negative. The location, the staff, the facilities were top class. The most hospitable aspect was complementary snacks - corn flakes (two types), milk, fresh fruits, very delicious chocolate filled puffs, fruit juices, mineral water bottles, and soda drinks for the guests. They were so plentiful that one could actually have a very hearty breakfast at the start of the day. All complementary. The roof top has a beautiful sitting area. It's a new building with modern fixtures.

Nothing. Maybe the rooms are a bit too small but it's okay considering a host of positives.

Excellent position, in a small street next to the Cathedral. Wonderful receptionists. Having free drinks (soft drinks, coffee, tea) 24/7 is an excellent amenity. Roof terace is amazing! Taxi stop is around the corner, and many good restaurants. Shping area is in 10 walking distance.

I stayed in two different rooms. The first room had not the best set up - airconditioning right above the bed and shower doors opposite of the toilet - very narrow and impractical to use both. The other room was on the roof top - I would suggest to put some kind of bars to the window, to improve the feeling of security and enable having opened window. But all that was minor flaw. The hotel is excellent.

When I booked, I must admit, I thought the name 'Basic', it was going to be average if not below average. So I was amazed to find a compact but modern room with a great en suite, wonderful double shower; desk, table, and comfy bed, wardrobe, sockets etc. Everything I needed. The real bonus was the provision of fruit, cereal, coffee, juice for breakfast on a help yourself basis. Very central. Very friendly and helpful staff. This is the only hotel out of the 5 that I stayed in for my trip that I would return to. I would approach from the Cathedral, when it is easy to find.

Like all this style of what is a converted Spanish home that would have had an internal patio, it is slightly echoing, so you can for instance hear the staff on the telephone. There was no noise late at night however, so I do not really think this is a negative. It is a quiet street.

Great location, clean, friendly helpful staff. Free food and drink available 24 hrs, included cereal, pastries, biscuits, fruit, juices, water, tea coffee.

Our room had a bathroom that was open to the rest of the room, no privacy. It could have been made more private with a curtain or if the wall had been extended. Not sure why a hotel offers a room like this? I don’t think most people want to use the toilet in front of others.

The staff was great! Nacho and his partner managed to provide us with all the main locations we needed to visit. Also, we went in “Feria” time and he get us access to the tourist area. The free water, juices and snacks in the lobby area was a plus as the weather was hot! Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Location is perfect as is at walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars, cathedral and alcazar. Although is in the center, is very quiet during the night.

The hotel is in a great location near to the cathedral, up a pedestrian street so it is central but no street noise. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Reception staff all pleasant and helpful. Complimentary refreshments/breakfast snacks were much appreciated.

The only thing that troubled us in any way was noise from adjoining rooms. If neighbours were up early or late and using bathroom/wardrobe noisily, it broke our sleep. Only a very minor issue but otherwise we were really happy with the stay. Would stay again if in Seville for sure

The hotel is in a great location. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the cold drinks station!! Free water and soft drinks. There is also fruit/light snacks available. Definitely a bonus part of the hotel. Bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. We had a great sleep. Taxi drops off at the nearest road so only a small distance to walk with luggage. Good value for money.

The shower head seemed to have a little mould. Bathroom had a little bit of a smell.

The location was excellent right in the center of Old Town but on a quiet street. Walk out the door and everything you need is 5 minutes away, including the Cathedral and Real Alkazar. The room was extremely clean. Antonio and the staff were very helpful with suggestions of where to eat. The little help yourself 24 hour Cafe room was convenient and you were not worried about rushing downstairs to get breakfast. The rooftop seating area was a great way to soak up Seville. Its cozy and private. Tere is internet there and views of the streets and The Cathadral. We would definitely stay there again.

The internet in our room was not good until you walked out the door.

Very comfortable and clean! The receptionists were lovely and very welcoming - especially Antonio! He was so nice, we would come back just for him! Location is perfect, we could walk everywhere from the hotel. Also a great point is the free drinks, cereal and sweet snacks - we think this made up for the fact that there’s no breakfast - you can go get water, Coca Cola, juice etc. whenever you want!

Just the wifi didn’t work in our room :( But it’s okay because we only stayed 2 nights so not a big deal for us.

This is the third time we've stayed with Basic Hotel. We came back because we loved our experiences here. The staff are warm, friendly and always eager to help. The rooms are pleasant and clean. And the hotel could not be more centrally located than this. It's a wonderful hotel. :-)
