Charming characterful hotel in unique location

Parking is limited and very tight

Excellent position, right near the centre of the old town. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Close to where the little tourist train pics up. Would definitely recommend.

Just a small moan. We went for breakfast about half an hour after breakfast started. Asked a waitress if we can sit anywhere and she looked around and said that most of the tables were set ready for lunch. The waiter found us a table quite dirty and full of crockery etc. He cleared away the crockery but left us with a dirty table and no cutlery or anything. Other people coming in after us got a similar problem.

Possibly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. I was lucky enough to get a room with a second floor and rooftop terrace, overlooking part of the city and right beside el Torre de San Martín. The room was spotless, and had some nice extra touches. It's the first time I returned to the hotel a little earlier than usual, just to spend more time in the room. A room like this would have been at least three times the price in Ireland. The buffet breakfast had loads of choice and only cost an extra €10. Secure private parking provided excellent peace of mind that my motorcycle was safe.

The only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't have stayed longer.

The hotel has an excellent location next to the beautiful Escalinata, easily accessible to the train station by the stairs or lift. The hotel is on a street leading to one of the great World Heritage Site Mudejar towers in Teruel, and likewise within a short walking distance to the town´s main square. Plenty of restaurants, taverns, cafes, bars and shops nearby as well as a small supermarket. Teruel´ is compact enough that you can walk easily to all the main sites, overlooks, etc. Stay at least 2 days to do justice to this historic, interesting city. A one day excursion by car or local taxi (about 40 minutes) to Albarracín is very worthwhile. Albarracín is perhaps even more fascinating than Teruel, but be aware that the streets of the mountainside, historic part are mostly quite steep.

No complaints. Everything worked out well.

Room 100 over the entrance with a view and unexpected mini balcony, VERY friendly and helpful STAFF- all shifts, communication (met requests), we got early check in, LOCATION, great Shower, heated no fog bathroom mirror, Bed, Decent TV- we bought a HDMI cable, Adequate breakfast for 10E we didn't pay in advance for but it was easier than going out and a special set up for children in back, restaurant recommendations by staff member, QUIET, Price. Would definitely stay here again. I read reviews of all the nicer places in Teruel. Easy drive to Albarracin the next day.

Parking concerns before arriving (we didn't even try hotel parking after reading the reviews) we went to Gloria ($ 18.50E cash or attendant for less than 24 hours) and had a nice short walk. Never saw free parking at train station- we tried. A close up map online of the area and how to arrive and parking options would be nice but gps helped. ATTACHED HAIRDRYER for someone 3' tall (front desk lent me a nice one), bathroom counter a bit small. DARK in spite of many lights- lighting is an important thing for me. No heat on (not needed) at this time of year but plenty of blankets. Not dealbreakers and all easily remedied.

Perfect location for sightseeing the old town! Big room, nice bathroom, comfy bed. Our room was facing a narrow street as well, with a building just in front but it wasn’t a problem to us, after all we didn’t book it to stay in the room and enjoy the view from inside. It’s a 5 min walk from Renfe and it’s free car park.

It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel anymore, would give 3 max. Shower floor and bathroom need some renovations. The bed was good but the pillows were the worst, super flat and uncomfortable, didn’t sleep good at all. Also found some stuff on the floor after previous guest, which made us wonder if the rooms was properly cleaned.

Excellent room (upgraded to suite). Friendly staff. Breakfast one of the best I have had in a Spanish hotel (and that includes Paradores). Very good location in Teruel. Very clean.

WiFi is a weak point. Eg Images in news sites took time to download. Parking is an issue. If arriving by train then the hotel is not only in the centre but also near the station. It is a different story if arrival is by car. We arrived early afternoon to find no room in garage. We had to use street (not easy in Teruel) or public parking at over 16€ a day. Use the Glorieta car park. Level - 3 has most room. It is a 10 minute schlep away from the hotel. If close parking is important to you, check all the available hotels before booking.

Location which was excellent for the town. The hotel staff were great and everything was clean and worked.

The breakfast, whilst good could have been better e.g. the hot choice should have been hot at least. The attached resturant staff need customer service training. We sat down in an empty resturant only to be told the table was 'reserved' - no notice displayed. We were ushered to the most remote table possible at the back by the kitchen which we declined and ate elsewhere. We know the resturant never got more than half full that night. Surly staff being awkward.

Everything. The location is perfect, access to the old centre and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Secure, reasonably priced motorcycle parking. All the staff spoke good English but let us practise our Spanish. The room was spotless, credit to the cleaning team. Fabulous shower, comfy bed and two balconies with great views. Totally quiet at night. All at a very reasonable price. Totally recommended.

Good service. We left early in the morning. The hotel gave us food bags with two big sandwiches and beverages. I forgot to cancel the subsequent reservation beforb free cancellation deadline when the travel plan changed. The hotel help to cancel the reservation with Free charge. It's really nice.
