Great hotel. In great location with lovely pool.

Staff could be more friendly especially around the bar area. Sometimes ordering a drink at the pool bar felt like you were not welcome. They could maybe smile a little more. They also seemed to be more friendly with the Spanish clientele. Just our opinion. Otherwise it's a great hotel and we have stayed here almost a dozen times.

Public areas (lobby, pool, small gym, spa) are very well maintained and nicely decorated. Great view from the seaview rooms over the pool area and mediterranean sea. Friendly service at the front desk. Rooms are quiet even during peak season with full hotel

Room decor is out dated and needs to be upgraded asap. Very friendly housekeeping staff, but the quality of cleaning could be better. Rooms are dusty every day, the dust might come from the a/c. Air conditioning worked well, but a remote control would make the adjustment nitetime nicer :) Lifts are not always working.

I always like staying at Ritual and enjoy the familiarity, relaxed atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. Convenient for Carihuela restaurants, train to Malaga and Costa del Sol towns and resorts and the local restaurants and the bars in Nogualera. I have stayed multiple times in the last few years, before and now after Covid pandemic restrictions have ended. Twice this year so far. Perfect weather this time for reading by the pool....I read three substantial novels.

The Sunday pool party isn't my taste, with loud music & drag, but it is very lively and popular with most guests.

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are quite big and clean. Bathrooms have bidets and bath tubs. The reception staff is friendly and supportive. The facilities are clean and adequate. There’s a standard pool on the ground floor and you can also eat at the restaurant near the pool. There’s also a bar that serves cocktails and coffees. There’s a naked pool with a bar on the rooftop; a spa and a gym in the basement. There’s also a barber and a shop in the reception. The masseur is very friendly and professional. Massage prices are accessible and proportionate. During the week, there were 4 amazing pool parties with music, drag queens, DJs and dancers. The cleaner deep-cleaned all the rooms every day. The hotel is close to the gay area and you can literally walk to pubs and clubs in 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice gay holiday and I’m looking forward to come back soon.

The cleaner did not clean our room on one day and food and drinks were a bit overpriced.

The main pool is large with attached spars. The roof top pool has great views and bars a good selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. The friendliness of staff and patrons meant we wanted to spend time at the hotel. The comfort of the rooms and bed was above expectation. We had a booked a sea view and were not disappointed.

The hotel is very close to the beach but the walk down is steep so might not be easy for those with mobility problems. We had breakfast only once at the hotel as it was not value for money if you just wanted a coffee and cereal.

The central position, the atmosphere and the pool. The room was pretty big and welcoming

One morning we woke up and we found a girl in our toilet. She could get into the room with the key card. We complained at the reception and for the girl there it seemed quite common(“oh maybe she came here and her card didn’t work so we created another one with a wrong room number that she provided”). Is it normal? So I go down to the reception and I ask for a new room keycard and nobody checks if I am the person who is staying in that room?!? Fortunately the man at the reception understood that it was really something that shouldn’t happen and apologised for the inconvenience. Before issuing a new key card please check the person id. It’s not nice getting up, opening the toilet door and finding an unknown person sat on the toilet listening music.

A poor checkin experience - again. We had booked a superior room with sea view and was initially offered a room with garden view. We questioned it and were told there was nothing else available. We expressed our disappointment having booked 7 months in advance and suddenly a sea view room was found but no apology was offered. We really like the hotel and have stayed many times, but have experienced this before. We expect this now. Just be prepared to challenge the first room offered if you are not happy with it.

Everything as expected. A well rum, clean comfortable hotel.

The pools were great and the staff were lovely.

The steam room was out of order and when we paid for the spa, we weren't advised of this. We wouldn't have paid and gone to the spa if we had known one third of it wasn't working.
