Caro Hotel

This is one of the best hotels I have been to. Its small (26 rooms) and I guess therefore staff is extremely attentive and makes you feel very much at home. The place is enchanting and well decorated. Middle of the city center yet quiet. Large rooms. Breakfast is extremely good and portions are large. Beds are changed daily if you should wish, as are all towels. Use of minibar is included as are tea and coffee. You can even choose between 5 or 6 different kind of pillows.

The pool is very small but doesnt beat the incredible experience of overall luxury.

Great location! Very kind and helpful staff who spoke English. Very clean room. They provided water bottles daily and provided additional bottles when requested, free of charge. The minibar was included in the price and it had lots of drinks and some snacks which was a nice touch.

Room 33, with it’s sloped roof, has a small usable area. There are a few rooms with this layout. We’ve hit our head a few times and we are not tall people. Wasn’t an issue for us as visiting coffee shops is part of our travel experience, but if you have coffee in the hotel, note that there is no coffee maker in the room but you can call rom service and they will deliver.

Outstanding service, more the sort of experience you would expect in th UK or US from a five star hotel, not what I'm used to in Spain. "Everything is possible" one member of staff said to me, and it really felt that it was, and nothing was too much trouble. Having fresh coffee of your choice brought to the room rather than using a small machine and uht milk was a real plus. And every member of staff we met was friendly, helpful and attentive. A five minute walk from the beautiful riverbed park, hop on/off bus stations and a piazza full of restaurants made this the perfect stay.

We were blown away by its amazing design that seamlessly incorporates old-world features with modern touches. The staff at Caro Hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming.Their excellent command of English made communication effortless, ensuring that every need and request was met with efficiency and professionalism. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary coffee and mini bar in the room. It was a thoughtful touch that added convenience and an extra touch of luxury to our experience. Moreover, the hotel's location is fantastic. Situated in the heart of Valencia, it allowed me to easily explore the city's main attractions.

can’t be better, best hotel in our trip so far

A beautiful hotel at a great location from which to explore the old city. Friendly and helpful staff, all their recommendations of restaurants and other places to visit turned out to be great. I would probably pick the same hotel for a next visit to València.

Since the hotel is situated in a historical building, all rooms are quite different. It would be nice to be able to pick a specific room when booking. And I would suggest an offer of healthy treats in addition to (or in place of) the sweet treats that are put in the room every day.

*Outstanding service and great location* In this hotel you get to know what absolut perfect service is. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They make you feel so comfortable, like home away from home. Young hospitality talents who are very professional. We stayed 3 nights and rented bikes from the hotel. It‘s very easy to get around and discover the city. By the way - if you are young and like party we can recommend you marina beach club ;-) Our room #33 was just beautiful with the wooden ceiling and the skylights. We want to come back to Valencia and will definitely choose this Hotel again. Thanks guys - it was great to stay with you! The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was large and very clean. The history of the hotel is fabulous. There is information around about the old Roman walls preserved as part of the building. The location is great. Right in the heart of the old city.

The pool area was very, very small. It’s always hard to tell from photos. Nice for a quick cool down but not a lie around the pool type of pool. The bed was comfortable but very low to the ground. We are a bit older so this is just a small note if you have creaky knees & back 😜

The Hotel is in a beautiful historic building that has been sensitively and stylishly converted in to luxurious hotel rooms. The room we were in had some ancient artefacts and there was a QR code to link to information on the excavation and conservation of the hotel. The staff were highly professional in their service, but still friendly and attentive to the guests needs. we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone of our friends.

There was nothing we did not like about this hotel - we wished we stayed longer

Two things stand out in this exceptional hotel. The DESIGN and the STAFF. The hotel has a unique design and architecture, which makes the stay unlike any other 'standard' hotel. The staff is truly remarkable and welcoming. they took care very quickly of any request we had. They have some small things that makes you feel welcome - like free coffee (high quality, espresso or cappuccino) at the lobby bar, or complementary snacks and soft drinks at the room minibar. The location is great for walking anywhere in the old city, and we got some great dining recommendations from the hotel staff. If you care about having a clean room and a unique design with a welcoming staff - you should go there.

a stylish, luxurious hotel in brilliant location with super helpful staff. it is an old palace given a minimalist make over - the rooms are very comfortable -especaily the big bed - if a little stark. while pricey soft drinks and coffee are free in mini bar/room service - a nice touch. qr codes explaining history are interesting.

the single lane pool is a nice artistic touch -not much use for splashing around. rooms a little stark for some tastes.
