Large rooms like in US hotels. 2mx2m bed. Very comfortable. Very high-speed internet and a desk to work. Amazing bathroom. It looks like rooms have been renovated with high-quality materials (wood, marble in the bathroom). The staff has been amicable. It was my wife's birthday, and she received a complimentary bottle of excellent Cava (Spanish Champagne) to celebrate. Very Nice. The hotel is conveniently located, touching Ruzafa, a very nice place with bars, restaurants and small shops.

A large hotel. The room was nice and I had a quiet room. Good quality for the price. About 20 minutes walk from the centre. Staff spoke good English.

There is a very busy roundabout at the front, though my room didn't face this, so was not bothered by noise. The hotel said it had a restaurant but it was not open on the night I stayed and just a tiny bar area in the corner of reception so worth remembering as there aren't many places to eat in the immediate area around the hotel.

The room was a nice size, clean, and comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was also very modern, good shower and bath and useful large mirror above the sink. The staff were very welcoming and our stay was very pleasant.

Im not sure if our window was slightly faulty at the top not sealing properly or if the roads were just generally that loud but the front facing rooms can hear the traffic at the roundabout at night and sirens from police etc. Overall though this was not a large enough problem to negatively impact our stay.

1. Personnel is very well trained and amicable. 2. Breakfast was very good. I only missed 1 thing: nuts and cucumbers, but all the other things were present. 3. Amazing cleaning service. I think it’s among the best housekeeping from all the hotels I’ve been staying at. 4. Location. For me walking by foot, taking a bus or a car share it was a perfect location. Lots of good food options around, supermarkets, banks - anything. 5. Special thanks for the tea/coffee tray that has been updated every day (I stayed 4 days). 6. Bed is super comfortable! I slept like an angel.

- Would be great to have not only free welcome water but rather less fancy but daily free bottles available. - would be good to offer free slippers, toothbrush and a toothpaste. I was surprised not to find such habitual things at a 4 star property. - fix the phone at the room 304 please, it does not function - sauna and gym were not working, even with reservation. A pity, for a 4 star hotel at least some fitness/spa amenities should be available. - the decor and bathroom facilities are a bit dated. The face paper towels holder was broken (the box kept falling off), the toilet flush button sometimes got stuck, my lower window had a crack.

The room was excellent. Very spacious and beautifully decorated with a large bathroom. Huge double bed a comfy sofa bed for the kids. Air con was a must due to the heat in August. The staff were polite and helpful at check in and check out. Secure underground parking was a must and was reasonably priced.

The lift was terrible. Out of the two lifts available only one worked. Whenever we used it we had to wait an unexpectedly long time for it to arrive. In the foyer this wasn't too much of a problem but on floor 6 where we stayed the air con wasn't on which made for a hot 5-10 mins. With children this caused a few outbursts of bickering! A bit of confusion at the bar, which we understood to be closing so we paid and left, only to realise that the this wasn't the case and the lady was saying that all drinks were then charged to the room. Maybe some signs would have prevented this, or we need to put more hours into Duolingo!!

Located in a great area with lots of good bars and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a shame that a previous visit that had to be cancelled due to travel restrictions wasn’t refunded when all other hotels did refund us. We thought twice about booking again after that but wanted to try this area having stayed a little bit further out on previous visits. Overall the hotel was good and we loved the area but as a large hotel it felt a bit impersonal and some area such as corridor carpets were worn. Will probably go back to the hotel we’ve used before on our next visit.

There were only 2 lifts, which was very inconvenient as they kept stopping on every floor. The breakfast was exactly the same every single day we've stayed (5 nights), which, after 2 days, made it very boring. The air conditioning in the room didn't go lower than 21 degrees - we were told that this is due to government regulations.

We found Senator Hotel by chance. Everything was great during our short stay. What made it remarkable was the staff at the reception, Mr. Ivan. He is, single handedly, the most hospitable and sweet gentleman we have encountered till date. And we do travel a lot, really! Hopefully we will come back to VLC soon and we will meet Mr. Ivan again. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on the edge of the wonderful Russafa district. If you're in the right direction, in five minutes you can be immersed in city life with restaurants and shops. But the historic centre is quite far, about half an hour's walk away, or a 10-15 minutes taxi ride.

In rooms facing the square, it is not possible to open a window because of the traffic noise. Rubbish trucks in the middle of the night are particularly annoying. But with the windows closed the soundproofing is good and the air conditioning worked well. We also found that getting to the beach without a car was very problematic.

I liked Everything about the property, it was in a great location not too far walk from the town.. Rooms were cleaned everyday, without any doubt, left the room in the morning came back that evening and it was back tidy again as if I was walking into it on day one. Staff were so accommodating, really helpful and ensured we were catered in all aspects of our stay. Would highly recommend a stay in this hotel if visiting València.
