I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Alakamanda, Anuradapura Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious and clean accommodations, comfy beds, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. My dining experience at the restaurant was truly exceptional. I would say the best food we had in Sri Lanka in my entire trip.

I can’t think any negatives other than the wet weather we experienced

The staff was very friendly and supportive. The location was good and the meals were great. We were provided fresh towels each day. The room was comfortable and spacious. The location was not very far off from the places we needed to visit. Overall a great stay.

There could have been more 13 Amp socket outlets in the room (There was only one). The water pressure was very high and could not be adjusted.

Excellent hotel. Very good rooms and good bathrooms. Very beautiful courtyard in the front. There was lot of variety in the breakfast. Very tasy also. There was outside seating also. We stayed there for NYE, and they had arranged a DJ night. We enjoyed very much. The staff was very friendly. They joined us during the DJ. It was a wonderful stay. Thank hotel Alakamanda.

This was our second visit for this property. The service levels have risen nicely over the two years. Staff were friendly and accommodative and always had a smile on their faces. The room was spacious for our little family. Food was tasteful and overall ambiance of the hotel was great too.

The hotel could look into minor details such as complete blackout of a room etc (by way of a blackout curtain, etc.). But nothing to complaint about.

The stay at Hotel Alakamanda was excellent. The front staff was very helpful and pleasant. The room was very clean and specious. The bathroom itself was very spacious as well. The breakfast was very tasty with a lots of variety. Dining room staff was great and helpful. Very clean hotel and beautiful environment. Very close to the town. Would recommend a stay at this hotel.

We stayed for one night to visit the Sacred City, very convenient location. Breakfast and dinner were great and the room was comfortable. A great little place very quiet and peaceful. The hotel provide driver accommodation. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The dinner could have been served a bit urgently, but hospitality was exceptional.

Had a very comfortable stay here. Staff were super welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Buffet had varieties of food options. Rooms was clean and the pool is highly recommendable for a dip after a tiring day at Anuradhapura heat

There was no iron in the room. But it was manageable

Finally we found a place which is simply up to our standards in a beautiful and quiet place in Sri Lanka. Squeaky clean; Exquisite food and most importantly we've found the friendliest & most supportive staff. Highly recommended. We'll definitely go back again.

nice hotel to stay at anuradhapura city limits, hotel staff was also done good service environment is very calm and attractive ,their meals are very clean and delicious. can recommend this is a good place to spend your vacation
