Hotel was as expected for a large city centre hotel. It is well positioned to access the city. The room was large and comfortable, with a good shower and toiletries provided. The pool area was nice and quiet. The staff were very amendable, but communication was difficult at times.

Not a criticism of the hotel, but from a female perspective you need to be aware when walking that men approach and say they recognise you from the hotel because they work there... This is not true!! They can be very persistent and difficult to get away from. I have never experienced this anywhere else in Sri Lanka.

The staff were lovely and hospitable. The pool is huge and such a nice break from the heat and traffic in Colombo. You can see fruit bats and birds flying overhead even in the day which was also amazing. The room was nice, very clean and well furnished. Beds were really comfortable. The location is good, a short walk from Galle Face Green which id recommend doing in the late afternoon/evening to see all the locals gather on the beach and try the local street food vendors. I’d recommend staying here!

There was a very slight smell in the room where it’s a bit of an older building, but it didn’t hinder our stay and everything else was perfect.

- Property located walking distance from the beach - Amenities offered were excellent - Prompt room service - Food was very tasty and well prepared - Indian food available - Staff is excellent and takes care of the guests. The room we booked was under maintenance, so we were upgraded to the Presidential suite, the highest available room at the property. Their Manager Mr. Chamith made sure to give us a perfect experience by upgrading us. Mr. Nishan & Ms. Madhavi noticed we are on our honeymoon and took good care of us. I would definitely recommend Ramada. Its no less than Taj. The property might be smaller than Taj but the staff and their way to handle things totally makes up for it.

It was very spacious and the staff helped us a lot on arranging us an extra bed as soon as we arrived which made our stay at Ramada more comfy and easy. Because of my parents’ recommendation about the hotel I actually booked it. But I can guarantee that it is truly worth the price cause I used to stay for a four day trip at the Marino beach hotel once and when I compare it with the stay at Ramada, it was truly truly great!! Ngl!! Wanna have a visit to it again for sure!!! Loved it a lot!!!✨

Every single member of staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. Everything went smoothly with the airport pickup and hotel check-in, even though we were late. Whether you order from the à la carte or breakfast buffet, the cuisine is delicious. The 24-hour room service and dining options are really convenient. The bright, airy rooms are updated with a modern touch. Very family friendly. There was spa within the Hotel which could be used to unwind after a long day out. Being walking distance to Galle Face Beach and Mall, I would say the location is excellent. Without a doubt, when I next visit Colombo, I will be staying here.

There is nothing that I can recall that I did not enjoy. However, I believe that a children's playroom would be a wonderful addition to the hotel, as it would enhance the overall experience. In comparison to the distance and other factors, the airport pickup bus was slightly more expensive.

It was a wonderful stay in Colombo. Extremely friendly staff and they were very welcoming and helpful. It was Poorna and Duty Manager Suranjith who welcomed us on the first day, very late at night and they were extremely helpful and quick in changing our room from a 'Smoking' to a 'Non-smoking' due to an administrative error for the first night and provided us with an excellent room on a higher floor the next morning as per our request. Location was great as in the heart of Colombo and close to everything and a 30 sec walk to Gall Face and a 5 min walk to One Galle Face Mall. Lotus Tower and Gangaramaya temple were within walking distance or a quick taxi/tuk tuk ride. Extremely spacious rooms with inviting and spacious beds and a large bathroom covered in marble was awesome. The room had everything we required and cannot say anything bad about staff. Particularly, reception staff Poorna, Yuresha, Niveditha, Ravi and Duty Managers Chamith and Suranjith were absolutely wonderful. And concierge staff Palitha, Jagath, Sadun, Prasanna and others (cannot recall some names) were extremely helpful and respectful. Housekeeping staff were equally helpful and so down to earth and we were served by Swarna, Heshan and another young man the first few days whilst he was covering for Heshan and they were all extremely humble and accommodating. The hotel also had a well equipped gym and both personal trainers Indika and Dimuth were very helpful with all workouts when I visited the gym. We tried the breakfast buffet once which was great and again served by extremely helpful and friendly staff. The Café downstairs in the lobby was excellent with lots of yummy short eats, coffee and other options and reasonably priced and served us well in grabbing a quick breakfast before going on our daily outings. Great free Wi-Fi and had no issues with this throughout our stay. Poorna, Yuresha and Chamith who spoke to us many times were a pleasure to chat to.

Staff and hotel was in center of the city.

Hotel price per night is expensive.. plus they need to improve system of pre authorisation of payment because due to my work i need extended my stay 3 times and they charged my credit card 3 times which cost me extra charges for each transaction on intermittent bank . They need to also improve their account department because at the time of check it was a big challenge for asking invoices for my whole stay. Anyways Duty Manager later send me invoices via email.

Really fantastic spot, staff in general were great and really quite helpful. Fantastic value for money when you look around similar spots in Colombo.

Getting the extra bed was a little difficult, and I found it a bit strange they didn’t have a habit of providing a receipt for the payment of the rooms (ie only on checkout, even though the payment was required upfront) however in both circumstances these complaints were resolved. In general the room service of food could be a little faster

The FO and in particular the bell boy was very helpful.

I paid for a late check out but the GM was most unaccommodating when I requested for a few minutes more as my husband was unwell. However , he said I had to leave the room in 20 mins time or he will charge another USD 50/- He sounded most unkind. I requested to see him personally and told him I also own a hotel but we do not treat guests this way especially when their spouse is unwell.

The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Would definitely stay there again if we are visiting Colombo. Food offerings were fantastic and tasty.

Not much. It met all of our expectations. There weren't a lot of eating places in easy walking range but tuk tuks are easy enough.
