Really nice beach front hotel close to Colombo. Beach is nice and clean and safe to have a sea bath. The food was really tasty and enjoyed a lot.

The staff and the food is what make this hotel exceptional! We had an amazing stay, SPECIAL thanks to Abirami who profesionally managed all our requests! She is a true pro and a great person! Also huge thanks goes go Nilan, Dimika, Rumesh, Nishanka, Malaka and Nishan! They all were exceptional!

The property could use some maintenance and the AC needs to be fixed in the room we stayed nighttime temperature was ok but it was quite impossible to have a nap in the afternoon

We stayed at the citrus for 10 days and our experience was absolutely fantastic. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, they were so polite and friendly. The food was excellent, so much to choose from and all so tasty and freshly made. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms are cleaned daily and re stocked with fresh towels, coffee and water. The balcony was lovely with amazing views of the ocean! I made use of the spa facilities and the treatment I had was divine! Safe to say we will definitely be returning! 5 star stay!

I felt very safe in the hotel, the security was top notch and being that close to the beach was amazing. The bar staff were exceptional and made me feel so welcomed as soon as I arrived. The variety of food at breakfast and dinner was always excellent too!

The water bottles provided were only small and having to keep going down to the bar to buy multiple 1 litre bottles was rather frustrating when it was so hot. There needs to be bottled water more readily available as tap water isn’t an option.

The room and the bath is comfortable And Beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and good size. Food was also ok.

The balcony Small but there is. We asked for a menu and this hotel no longer has only QR code information. Don't go eat without a phone because you stay hungry. Or those with non-smartphones are no longer welcome here. This is very disappointing. I only give the hotel 4 stars! When checking out, it was quite humiliating that we had to wait about 10 minutes to they check if anything had disappeared after us. I just didn't feel the respect from the staff that a 5* one should have. Yep, a sequriy chased the cat around the guests all dinner time. Please, the kitchen is so big if you give a kitten something to eat afterwards, it doesn't beg for food, rather than distract it hungry!!

There was a lot of events took place during the weekend. I loved how the staff was trying to entertain the guests and there was a DJ there was some musical event, so it was nice. the bar and restaurant staff took the extra effort to recommended items on the menus and made specials for us.

They could have improved the cleanliness in the pool. There was like moss in the pool which I didn’t like and it was not clean.

The room was great and spacious. There was a giant toilet and a massive bed, four people could’ve slept comfortably on that king sized bed. It was really close to a beach and the pool was very nice as well. We went on all inclusive and all the drinks provided at the bar were no cost and exceptionally good. The food was delicious and there was a lot of variety, the deserts were very tasty and looked fancy.

I loved everything.

The hotel is one of the biggest in Waskaduwa and the rooms are very good and sea facing. The pool is pretty big and the amenities around the pool are good. The breakfast and ala carte menu as well as buffet have very good options. There are regular shows in the portico of the hotel even during the crisis time in April 2022.

Nothing about the hotel but the beach and sea access is limited, The only place is the pool inhouse and it is the same with most hotels in Waskaduwa be it be Turyaa or Mermaid or any other. Maybe it has got to do with how the sea is in Waskaduwa.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner all are superb. Foods are very tasty. In our wedding day also all of my neighbours and friends told us all foods are delicious. The hotel was ideal for a family, plenty for the kids to do and the pool was huge! The hotel had some of the best food we had during our time in Sri Lanka.

On the second day we tried to order room service and 60% of the items on the menu were unavailable which was a little disappointing.
