location, traditional hospitality, great check in staff! the junior suite are awesome for a family or group of friends.

there was one staff member at Breaky, Aruna or Anura …a captain or supervisor looking after the exit to the garden section. the guy could 1 help his junior staff and 2 he could seriously upgrade his jacket size because it’s about to burst. We requested a table outside, with one table availability he decided to ignore our request and say no tables was available but was happy to give the same table to Caucasian 2 guys to grab a quick bite and leave. you should look after local tourist as much as overseas, one we could be expats, two we all know who visited local hotels during covid lockdowns and Easter attacks.

The room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the hills nearby. The reception and restaurant team were excellent in their customer connect and responses. The food was very good with lots of variety and the bar had nice comfortable seating to relax. Overall an excellent experience.

Many Indians, even those who eat non vegetarian food, prefer a wider range of vegetarian options. Good to plan that. Also , it is better if the vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes are not kept in the same place to avoid confusion, specially for those who may be very strict in their veg requirements.

The location of the hotel has a scenic beauty of the mountain range and the Mahaweli river. In the morning you will be greeted by the twittering of beautiful birds that will make you feel like you are living in the wilderness. The staff were extremely polite and they greeted us everywhere we saw them. We absolutely enjoyed the room that they provided us as a triple room which happened to be a suite. This room was spacious and luxurious. We requested for wheel chair access and were provided a wheel chair for our entire duration of our stay. This helped me a great deal as I was able to take my father to meals and around the hotel according to our time preference.

I had a small issue at the time of check in due to the room not vacated on time by the other guest. Which delayed our check in. The manager went out of his way to make sure we had a clean and tidy room. (Kudos)

i rarely but 0 score for hotel but i had to for this hotel, its not the first time i stay in this amazing hotel but i feel there are clearly some issue with staffs training. Of course there were amazing staffs but again 2-3 guys made the experience not pleasant.. very bad check in and check out again. they kept me waiting 35 min when i was stuck outside (my bad, forgot my key inside the room)im really concerning changing hotel for my next visit though this hotel could be one of my fav in Sri Lanka

I loved my stay here! The staff were so accommodating, helpful, friendly and made my experience a really great one. After backpacking and staying in hostels, this was the ultimate luxury, it really helped my unwind and relax. Away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy, you can enjoy a peaceful retreat away here. My face lit up when seeing my room, so big and fancy! They even give you complimentary chocolates/deserts on arrival. The swimming pool, gym, lounge areas and overall environment was super, very clean and the balcony had a pleasant view. The lobby along with the rest of the hotel was very spacious, modern and luxurious. Its clear to see lots of thought has gone into the design. It reminded me of a cruise ship the way its set up, love it! I saw a pool table advertised in photos but did not see it at the hotel. The food was really great, I enjoyed the buffets, while they did cater to vegan and gluten free, there were little options. You could request for something to be changed if needed but it would be nice to see more options available, particularly in the main menu. There were however some vegetarian options available at both the buffet and main menu. I had my first ever massage here and it was brilliant! Really helped me relax, the masseuse was really friendly and made the experience a good one, also at a really good price. I paid about $50 a night which I think is excellent for the value you get. If you need a retreat and don't want to leave the premises, this is a great option for your stay in Kandy! :)

The bed was shaking with a moment and the sofa and chair seems to be old and having bad odour. Bathroom condition could be improved. The vegetarian food option is limited and the buffet is decided based on crowd in hotel. If there is less crowd mean there will be set menu and have to order from that only whether you are half board or full board amd even many item not available from set menu itself.

such an amazing hotel, the staff were 10/10- super friendly and treat you like royalty. The price is really great, I paid about $50 per night, brilliant for a short break away. The food buffet was amazing! The facilities- gym, massage and swimming pool were all fantastic. All exactly what I needed. Super clean too. plenty of spots to chill and hang out if you need to do work or read etc. Overall a really superb experience.

The location is great, beautiful nature around. Food was great at the restaurant. The pool area and the garden were my favourite!

Massage wasn’t something I’d pay $75 to have again. The masseuse was the sweetest person, and I’m probably just used to another kind of massage. Parking lot clearly could be bigger, it was a challenge to park the car (the staff helped a lot with that).

The spa was a rip off Massage therapist needs to be more healthy She didn’t have the strength to do a proper massage Cleanliness was a big question mark. No soap or hot water to have a shower. Waste of money and time
