I had the pleasure of staying at Mandara Rosen Kataragama. I can easily assure one that it was an experience one would hardly ever forget. It was a perfect combination of comfort and luxury from its friendly staff to its comfortable, clean, and well-appointed rooms. Food was superb, with mouthwatering local and international cuisine to suit every palate. There was also an outdoor pool and the gardens, which were well maintained, adding to the tranquil atmosphere; this was a perfect site at which to relax.🍃💐 I highly recommend the place for anyone seeking a tranquil retreat amidst nature in Sri Lanka.⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'll be back!

The Mandara Rosen in Kataragama offers a comfortable and well-maintained room with a garden view and modern bathroom. The hotel's serene surroundings and greenery make it a peaceful retreat.I particularly loved the garden view, where I even spotted a few Tufted Langurs—it really brought nature closer to the stay. 🐒 🍃 The bathroom was modern, with excellent water pressure and plenty of amenities. The pool area is ideal for relaxation after visiting temples and wildlife. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the dining options are satisfactory. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and culturally enriching stay.🌟🌟

It’s an amazing property located within the center of Kataragama and surrounded by serene gardens. Ideal location for a family retreat and we throughly enjoyed our stay . Hotel staffs are absolute gem and very courteous who ensured every aspect of our stay are closely followed up and supported . Breakfast was amazing and had many varieties and the swimming pool was large and had a big area for kids which made my daughter extremely an happy guest .

Comfortable hotel in Kataragama. New facility with modern amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful and the check-in/Check-out process was smooth and hassle free. Restaurant food was excellent. Being right in town, the location was perfect for our needs.

Nothing that we didn't like about this property

Room size was excellent with all the facilities. Excellent decor and design for the rooms. We loved the 3 pools. Very helpful staff also a plus. Reasonable prices for the Spa is great too. Not to mention the breakfast with many options which are above excellent. Bathrooms were large, clean and facilities are functioning. No mosquitoes were found.

Our AC was not adjustable but it didn’t bother as it worked. Also fan was useful so it didn’t bother us. Batteries were run out on the safe. Better if they can check these before the guest checkin.

I recently stayed at Mandara Rosen and would like to share my feedback. Overall, I had a good experience during my stay. The hotel staff were welcoming, and the room was comfortable. The hotel met my expectations.

Had a very enjoyble stay. Room is very big, spacious and clean. very beautiful surround with Large pool and big garden. Food was excellent and delicious. Friendly staff gave me a memorable stay.... thank you.

Location was very good. Staff were very helpful and polite. Whenever I go to Kataragama I stay there.

I think the hotel is managing with difficulty because of the current situation in Sri Lanka. Also very few foreign visitors to the country. Reduction in staff levels is affecting services. Good people have left the hotel. This is also a factor.

Very quick and polite service. We were looking for a hotel which can arrange Safari for us. I called after midday and booked a trip on next morning. The was spacious and clean, were also enjoyed seasoning pool after Safari trip and monkeys jumping on the trees nearby.

The restaurant service was a bit slowly.
